It would be great if we could get him now, but they obviously have some agreement and a Celta de Vigo, maybe because of their relegation fight. Another thing,Pellegrini has always been very fond of basing his structure,among others, on a very technical midfield.That's why he misses a more suitable one.
You're striker problem is a midfield and defense issue…not a lack of strikers. You need to strengthen the middel of your back line and your midfield. You need to move uo that field more as a unit, and you need some quality that will feed your forwards. If you are willing to pay 40 mil, then you should nab up Hector Herrera the Porto captian, and your midfield issue is solved .
Agree, bring Gomez in now. Let Hernandez & Perez go now for a permanent deal and try and get some money back for Hugill. Don't bank on Carroll and Arnautovic and give Silva some playing time.
All the transfers Pellegrini brought in bar perez and Anderson are injured. I think Pellegrini is doing the best he can with the players he's got. Unfortunately we've been very unlucky with injuries.COYI
