Yes he will really fit Jota's position
Love Gakpo and think he and Gravenberch have a potentially immense understanding together.
Nothing more scouse than "Lets Ave It!" ha ha Love all that lads. Great break down of a player who will prove to be an all time red great, im calling it now, Gakpo is a banger!
Gakkers is a wonderful player him and Gravenberch in the same team is going to be very exciting
Trent 5 minutes in midfield playing a ball that our other midfielders couldn’t play in 80.
Jota’s role and impact on the team is different from Gakpo as this is a team sport. If Gakpo replaces Jota, who who is going to replace Gakpo? Meaning we’re one player short of quality
Gakpo should be our number 9 and start every game. Nunez brings chaos. Gakpo brings order. We look more fluid when he plays.
Who did liverpool play yesterday?
Personally believe he should be starting over nunez. He brings fluidity and hes overall a way better player. No hate to nunez. I like him too but gakpo makes us as a team play much better.
Gakpo's not underrated but he is overly & unfairly criticised imo. He's a fantastic footballer & so skillful & intelligent. He'd get in the starting line up every game for most prem teams. I'm sorry Jota's injured but excited to see Gakpo get a run as I think he's going to be a beast in the run up to Christmas.
Remember when Bobby Firmino never played when he was in his prime and Liverpool never clicked the same way? That's exactly what Gakpo does for this team.
He joined last season, and his impact was instant. From January when he signed, we started to pick up form and that's no coincidence. He's head and shoulders above the rest of the forwards in terms of all round game, and he's also as good or better at finishing than the rest. His conversion rate is crazy good. We need to start using him. He has the potential to be one of the best in the world.
Let's hope Klopp starts to use him CF or LW, where he's most effective.
He's SO MUCH better at holding the ball and keeping it than Jota and Nunez, which in turn means we don't concede as many counter attacks.
