Awesome… Finally
Should he play cb r ? It seems we need him more there than lb
Luke shaw wont be match fot dharp. q 28”” he be left back or cb😊😊😊😊
Sell him. Not available… all the time.
Having luke shaw allows us to have a shaw- varane partnership like we used last season
What was Shaws recent injury?
United seem to be quite guarded under ETH regarding the nature of players injuries.
Superb player when fully fit and focused, maybe the injury was troubling him at the start of the season and is a possible reason for his poor form at the start of the season?
Mctominay ball carrier 😮😂😂
I dislike injury prone players 🤮🤮
Why lindelof at LB?
Where's Reguilon?
I don't see how having a lb return from yet another injury is a boost for United 🤔🤔💯
Having Luke shaw , martinez and an addition of someone like Todibo will change our first phase of play. If ETH then plays Amrabat and Kobbie mainoo in the middle then things will start to change.
I say this all the time when talking to Luke Shaw haters who know nothing about looking at talent, he is such an underrated phenomenal player. As a former player myself, I can see little things from the way he moves that I can identify potential right away even before he got that horrific injury a few years ago. When he bombs forward, he is so hard to stop, he has that “Rooney gait” that’s so stable and strong and has the physique to match that. Critical England and Utd fans do not know what kind of gem they have till he’s out (like this season).
A lot of eggs are being placed in the Luke Shaw basket. Be wary of this. He can fall out of form just like the rest of them.
Currently shaw and maguire are the best at the moment.
Varane is not good enough right now
Welcome back Luke Shaw for Rashford to shine again✊🏿
The amount of times Iv seen Luke Shaw receive the ball, run a little forward then turn and pass the ball back to midfield or defense is countless. He hardly puts in crosses into the box. He hardly ever stops wingers down the flank from going past him and putting crosses into our box. Theres mamy times Iv seen him jogging back while an attacker has run past him. He hardly ever tackles successfully. Compared to AWB, who hasnt been in good form but still puts in alot more tackles and crosses into the box. Awb still isnt good enough but I think Luke shaw always gets over hyped hust because he is english. If he was from A non British country he would be getting roasted by the media and pundits.
8:14 we saw it once where Shaw crossed it over the top. To bruno who headed it wide, glad to have him back but I’m sure it’ll take him a game or two to get back to his best
Luke Shaw , Varane and Maguire should be sold , the first 2 are good players but so injury prone you can’t justify the wage bill, Maguire is too slow and to expensive to not be a starter.
United need wholesale changes
Sancho is the attacking Maguire .
Casemiro needs a Saudi move as his physical presence is gone .
The only reason to bring Shaw in as LCB would be to improve how we would progress the ball centrally. But I don't really think that makes much sense since the rest of the back line wouldn't really be good enough right now to play in that fashion anyways. Maybe if EtH thinks Varane is on the up and could play a lot of games I could see it working. But not with Maguire as RCB. And if Shaw is LCB we would much less impact higher up the pitch compared to if he was playing LB. And considering that Shaw would improve our buildup also if he plays LCB, I think it's a no brainer to play him there. I think we also saw some limitations in Shaw as a LCB last season. He wasn't nearly as good as Martinez in terms of breaking the lines with passes from deep. So we still wouldn't get that aspect back.
To say one player is key to a system is beyond stupid great managers have a style of play regardless. Poor content
The club with the most delusional fans. SHaw now is messi thats why united sucks, they missed him. Soon all ur injured will come back and u will still sucks and lose all competition and forget everything
Amrabat should be holding midfielder, and Eriksen or mctommy should move more towards box as a box to box player, may be mctommy should come in second half or for 20 min incase of must goal.
for now why dont we use shaw and varane for cb 😌
Shaw has capability to deliver good crosses, front of the opposition goal. Hojlund & McTominay could be the targets.
With Shaw back, Rashy's back….
United will change when both Shaw and Martinez are back, they are CRUCIAL for playing from the back.
He also has ability to put in a really good cross in from the first touch, i remember he got some assists that way last season when he probably was top 3 left backs in the world
Onana being "press resistant" doesn't benefit thw team because hes a garbage goalkeeper 🚮
These guys keep shifting the goalposts on why rashford is garbage, first it was because Luke Shaw isn't around, now it's "Luke Shaw and Erikson need to be good for the trio to work" 😂😂😂 utter BS
If Shaw is able to play top tier football in the LCB role, I’m sure he wouldn’t struggle at LCM/CDM role supporting Casemiro once Martinez gets back. Think about it .
Almost like Alaba was able to do at Bayern. Similar to Joshua Kimmich but a LCM/LCDM.
He can do it. People don’t think he’s a difference maker due to inconsistencies prior to last year. He’s talented. Glad he recovered from injury. He’s a huge help.
Hearing Left/Right footed CB for passing/crossing is really odd to me for some reason. I've always thought those terms are for the shooting feet. In my instance, I've played football all my life ( albeit nowhere near professional level) and I personally don't really have a weak foot for passing/crossing except for shooting in which my left is slighly better than the right . its common back then or is it nowadays where system football is more prominent ?
Shaw plays 90% in the United half you must be an idiot
Here’s the things. Luke Shaw coming back isn’t going to change the fortunes of Manchester United. If you want to argue that Shaw’s return will help with the defense…fine, will help with keeping clean sheets….fine, with improvement in the build up from the back……fine. None of that is going to improve a front attacking line that has score ONE FREAKING GOAL, in 12 league games. Unless Shaw is going to play CF or contribute goals from CB or LB or wherever he’s playing, then United will still struggle to win games.
United’s problem, as it was illustrated last year, is that THEY DON’T HAVE A PROVEN RELIABLE GOAL SCORER. It’s really that simple.
I don’t know why ETH always bench AWB for dalot I think bissaka is a lot better than dalot 😢
