  1. The foul on MTL's player is more threatening for a soccer player's career. VAN player flopped and deserves a fine. Red card should always stand but a drop ball where the ball was initially when the foul occured. Strange circumstances but no way should be double jepordy when MTL deserved a freekick in there own box.

  2. Flop or not it’s still violent conduct. The referee can choose to punish the more serious infringement of the laws of the game. If the player had committed VC against the player that fouled him they could send him off, issue a caution for the initial foul and then allow a free kick going out. But no center is going to allow VC in the area and not award a PK.

  3. There's no realistic way to do this, but I wish Montero would get punished as well for making the most of that. You can't book him for diving, because he was clearly punched, but the playacting is still very unsportsmanlike and he gets away with trying to fool the ref.

  4. The lesson is players will act like they were shot if you slap them so if you are going to do it get you moneys worth and give an actual punch or kick not some knee tap.

  5. Rudy Camacho totally cost Montreal the Canadian Championship. First, that terrible, inexcusable mistake that led to Toronto's goal in the dying moments of the game against TFC, and now this stupid action for which he conceded a penalty and earned a red card, completely destroying his team's game.

Were I an Impact fan, I'd furious at him, and were I in IMFC's front office, I'd sell him immediately. Not only he's garbage, but he's also brainless.

  6. Yes, it is a red card, but, the play before was a foul, clearly so, it the ref make a right decision to the prior contact, then we will not seeing these red card and fist to the knee act. The referee should be ashamed for that.

  7. If Fischer did his job (or call the foul as quickly as he did ours) he would've called the foul right when Dajomé almost destroyed Camacho's knees. It wouldn't have led to this.

Bring back the American refs who despise us Québécois/Canadiens equally. 😀

  8. That's a total red card and a really baby move. Montreal should drop him from the team for just being so foolish. If he did that off the field, Vancouver should have kicked him in the face.

  9. 50-50 call/foul. Simple, DON’T put your hands on one of your opponents player and expect NOT to be retaliated against. Should’ve been issued 2 Yellow Cards. One for retaliation 🟨, and one 🟨 for a full-on dive 🏊🏽‍♂️!

  10. Joke of a league, fix your reffs!
What a dangerous foul he didnt call, when he is always quick on the whistle!
Then Montero iniciate contact and clearly has no good intention in iniciating contact with Camacho.
Then after all the hit is a red because he meant to hit him.
But Montero desserves at least a yellow!
Fischer is so bad and clearly dislikes Montréal it is crazy the Guy should be fined this situation is all is fault

  11. The “impact” of the punch/slap on the knee area definitely wasn’t Red Card worthy, but the way he reacted was definitely Red Card worthy. Looking at this from two perspectives and not be biased.

  12. Didn't really require all the playing it up beyond the fall. I get to get proper attention it can be necessary to go to the ground but the over the top flailing is just gross. That said, it was definitely the right call.

  13. Montero shouldn't have been allowed to take the penalty. He got treatment from the trainers. He's supposed to go off until play resumes and the ref waves him in. Should've been another Cap kicking it
