It really is heartbreaking what happened with Maddy, she really was a figurehead for the women’s team and the impact she’s made on people can be seen all over.
The club has fucked up big time here. With the women’s manager being suspended and Maddy’s mother talking about how the club failed her… awful. I’m glad a proper investigation has been allowed to go ahead.

Connecting the dots here, Maddy’s Mum talks about how much she loved working with Neil Redfern who left in November 2022.
But then everything went downhill from February 2023 – the month that Jonathan Morgan was appointed.
Maddy died in September, and Morgan was suspended shortly afterwards…
