It was deliberate by Cash and instructed by Emery to do so he should have been Red Carded end of story , and Cash was taken off at half time to stop him being red carded the Polish munt
The ref was poor all game. Very inconsistent, some bad fouls by Villa let go and some minor bumps given and some let go for both sides. The minor coming together given against Spurs as a foul for the free kick for their first goal was typical. Cash was nowhere near the ball and just chopped Bentancur down from behind yet only gets a yellow, it was definitely deliberate and dangerous play. It totally changed the game as Bentancur was running the midfield. However saying that we still had enough chances to win 3 games, some very poor finishing today. Then for their second we had a gap in defence large enough to drive a bus through. We looked very vulnerable at free kicks given we had no Centre Half’s in the team, but with the side we had out it was not that bad overall.
