00:00 – Intro.
00:19 – Having to adapt: We would’ve written down possible teams but we’ve lost a fair few players. Big shame for them. Always opportunities for players coming in.
01:27 – Anthony Gordon: I’ll do that respectfully. He’s very close. I like his attitude and how hard he works for the team. There are players playing well in that position.
02:32 – What have you said to keep level high?: We have to win games. With England you always have to win. If we’re to be a top team, you have to have good habits.
04:31 – Opportunity to prove doubters wrong: If we play well tomorrow, people will say it’s just a lower ranked opponent. I’m tired of fighting people’s opinions.
06:14 – Alexander-Arnold’s progression: We’ve got a lot of very good players, what I’ve always felt his technical ability would translate into midfield.
08:19 – Left back situation: We have centre backs who can slide across, the reality is teams take that option. Germany won the World Cup playing centre backs at fullback.
10:03 – Have you spoken to Chilwell?: It’s tough for players like Ben and Reece James, they both missed the World Cup. For us you need players that have physical robustness.
11:21 – Rashford fit to play?: Yes, he hasn’t missed any training sessions. Of course we talk with every player about their club form.
12:31 – Hungary v Bulgaria: Top seed? I think so, but I’ll ask the analysts.
13:01 – Chance for Wembley to say goodbye to Bobby Charlton: It’s about understanding how special England internationals past and present are.
15:00 – Giving players the bad news about not being in the squad?: We haven’t had to make too many decisions because of the injuries, but it’s part and parcel about being a manager.
16:28 – Equal pay women’s and men’s managers: Equal pay for the same roles is important.

there's that mitchell guy at palace and he is a left back , I'm confuse now
Southgate out, good guy but he's not good enough for this level, these players should be winning every trophy at their disposal, he keeps picking his boys who aren't in form or not playing
Southgate " I only pick players who are playing regularly "..takes kalvin Phillips over jwp..sack this clown ffs
Southgate crap coach all that talent being wasted
Will Southgate rotate the starting XI tomorrow?
where is Eze?
Loads of left backs
This clown is picking his favourites so no one will be picked
Time to get Southgate out and give this team a chance
Well said
Imagine having incredibly talented English players in the league at your disposal, but you opt for players based on who you like and not on form. My question to you all is who would you like to see after Southgate?
Sterling over Rashford & Grealish any day of the week. He was the best player of the last Euro's. James Ward Prowse over Hendo or Phillips.
Rico Henry there, for years, now he’s hurt
I'm sorry but if England can't find a left back in 2023 it's a manager problem not a country problem. Englands talent is some of the best in the world (No I am not English but facts are facts), the problem before was the STYLE wasn't so good. Now you guys play real football for club and country. There's no excuse.
Southgate Out.
I can’t stand southgate, they will never win with him!
Ben White can do a job at left back
Liverpool and Klopp in particular owe Gareth a debt of gratitude for showing them TAAs best position
Mitchell, Targett, Shaw, Henry, Lewis all cannot be injured/ not good enough. Lol. Otherwise call up benny blanco he can play anywhere.
Man Utd fans ‘Saka is a left back’ incomingggg
Absolutely clueless manager.
Colwill can be used and on form but Tomori is better on left back,ok mr Coach…
As a mixed-handed lefty, thank you for saying this Gareth🙌
Chilly seems to get a knock or another bout of depression around the time of every camp. He's either very unlucky in that respect, or he doesn't want a call up.
14:30 hang on so who from the current England squad went to Sir Bobby's memorial service? Gareth and Steve? Or some of the boys as well?
