  1. That Haaland goal could have been nipped in the bud with just better communication between Dominic and Trent. A simple “keep him out wide” by either player would probably have done it, but Dom prematurely anticipated a cut inside and Trent somehow decided to block off the outside channel giving Ake a clear path inside. Small margins, man, but teams like City just need that little hesitation.

Fantastic comeback by the boys, tho. Took a moment of immense quality in what was a difficult afternoon. We chased shadows for large parts of that game 😮‍💨

  2. Are there rules in place to not pass to Szobo ? Or what? He received like 3-4 balls from his own teammates the whole game. He always tries to create chances and help the team, gets nothing back..

  3. I'm not impressed seriously! The way we play yesterday like we were not there to score we just defending, calming the game by touching the ball in our own half…. I'm frustrated really

  4. As usual Liverpool conceded another sloppy goal. Nunez can't score. Allison was horrible. Salah and jotta missing. TAA scored out of nothing for a City shock. Both Team's didn't play at top level might be even result

  5. Klopp was playing cautious, the midfielders suppling were in the dead mode, and nunaz needs alot to learn which is so bad for a team like Liverpool. The guy misses alot not in this match specifically & hesitatats on the net. In my opinion, I think Liverpool should have kept fermino as long as the club is still struggling to find a good finisher firing the ball without thinking. However , this game also showed how poor Macallistar & Szobozliai in terms of taking the ball ahead and creating chances. Criticize me or not they're way way below average or average. Liverpool needs a dynamic midfielder like Foden or Billingham a player with a vision. Klopp failed to see this in minamino and yet still trying to get out the best of two dead bodies.

  6. A good point, in more ways than one, and a great finish by Trent but his defending leading up to the goal after Alisons mis-kick was woeful. He needs basic tips for defending and Southgate won't pick him unless he improves massively in that area. YNWA!!
