For a guy Lampard faves said he wasn't good enough to be a Chelsea player…. Forgetting that he is probably our best defender. One that exemplifies what a modern central defender should look like.
We just needed a good coach to expose us to that. There is a reason why he is a mainstay in that strong Denmark Team.
He has improved for sure but to me he lacks physicality for a center back. He must be judged against strikers like Lukaku and Ibrahimovich. Christensen should be played as defensive midfielder.
I think Christensen would have been what I would have turned into if I continued to play football. (Nowhere near as good obviously but I had similar strengths and weaknesses to him growing up). Also he is far quicker than I thought but I think that is partly because he reads the game well and has good positioning.
4:10 is that Rudiger? It feels like most of the times when we conceded goals under Lampard with the Christensen/Rudiger CB pairing, it was because Rudiger ventured foward, missed the tackle and allowed the opposition to run towards a lonely Christensen. Do you think Rudiger/Christensen pairing is good enough to play in a 4 at the back formation?

The issue with Andre is , he may play fantastic up to 89th minute but he can make a mistake 90th minute , and most of the time, a costly mistake .
Apart from that he is a wonderful defender.
If we analyze properly , there will be one mistake which can be a costly one .

Yes, and then Tuchel started punishing him for not signing a new contract. This 3 man defense was very tight and allowed Chelsea lots of points though their offense was never really that amazing
