Newcastle United are reportedly this morning very close to signing midfielder James Maddison. The player has been a long term target of the club but have they finally got their man?

Annoyed the Rangers friendly didn’t get down to 0 loyalty points. Can’t help feeling hundreds of people with 1 or 2 points have bought tickets without any intention of going ☹️
Bought shirt in the shop on Saturday – the badge is fine, no different to previous versions. Did have some dodgy stitching on the back of the neck that meant there were a couple of knotted white threads on the outside where the label inside had been tied off badly. Couple of minutes with some of the wife’s sewing tools fixed that – bit shit for £70 but not worth arguing over, and maybe that’s why it was still on the shelf at 5.40pm!
Heads up I've done some proper research on the badge stitching and it isn't as much of a mistake as it has made out to be.
I have checked and you can almost see two Ts (trust me get a PDF up and look at it from a distance) when looking at a digital rendition of the club badge, the N connecting to the I is an issue the badge has had before as the gap is so small, it's the fact it's linked on the other side as well that has made it obvious.
I have found some examples of the I and T joining as well on past merchandise the club has produced, I think the badge needs to be larger to prevent this from happening or finer thread needed to be used..
NEWCASTLE UNTTED ON SHIRT CREST😂 made me laugh as my crest on my arm said untied I got it when I was 17 didn't even realise till I was 40😂😂😂😂

As far as the shirts are concerned surely when there is packed out SJP every other week they know they will sell huge amounts of shirts…. Why not delay the release until you can fulfil orders??
Paul from what I have seen Today on Youtube video`s actually in the club shop etc trust me, The People who ordered online Truly want a different shirt!!! The Newcastle emblem is fine but writing underneath apart from being up and down, wonky and poorly done, The main issue is is the Overlay spelling of NEWCASTLE UNTTED…………Yep the `i` is made to look like another `T`… The close ups of the Players shirts are perfect but the replica`s are a shambles bro… Keep your eyes open folks, Keep er lit Paul, Cracking job as always my mate, Chris

I think it's important to get 1 or 2 signings in early to start the momentum. I also agree that players having a word in the ear of possible signings is something that is not always appreciated enough. The Toon is going to grow like a growth spurt in a teenager, as will TTR. 50,000 this time next year! 😀
Maddison would be a class signing, 10 goals and 9 assists with a poor Leicester team last season he’d produce some big stats with us imo 🤞🏻
