Hey Geo, wonder if getting Diallo and playing him LB might mean that we start playing an elbow with Diallo staying back and a higher emphasis on Coufal to get forward. Wouldn’t mind him coming in at all tbf, played about half as many games at LB as he has CB, so at least he’s established there unlike Kostic. Cheers Geo 🙂
All this regarding Onana "10 days have passed and we've not had an answer either way" from west ham is nonsense. Their lack of answer IS all the answer you need. How hard is it to pick up the phone and say to their chairman "right where can we meet so all parties are happy, let's find a way to get this deal done" be proactive. What are they hoping? That if they just sit there doing nothing they accept the low ball offer. Not how business is done.
Kostic would only leave Frankfurt for Chelsea in Prem (Twitter) where did this rumour come from??

I feel like the broken record again now, Cornet, Sarr and if we have the money (which all these reports suggest we do) then Onana and get a centre half in on a free or loan.

Only been 20mins of the first game but Josh Cullen is absolutely incredible everything you want in a midfielder, passing range, calm & composed and hes just getting around the pitch with ease top draw championship player I'm watching

Geo. The differences between Kostic and ruddy Lingard is that the latter was blatantly greedy, and had no justification in not wanting to come (Kostic has a valid reason) and was the one trying to dictate matters.
Glad that Zielensky deal is off. Dialo, Kostic and Breton Diaz plus a centre mid that isn’t Onana ( also overpriced and greedy) and we are set!

I think we should sign Burnley's Charlie Taylor he might not be one of our fanciest signings but he'll do the job, plenty of premier league experience only 27/28 yrs old with quite the engine on him, he doesn't do anything great but he doesn't do anything bad either he's not the set piece threat Cresswell is but he's tall n strong so could be a threat in the box from set pieces, defensively he's better than Cresswell too I could see him as Cresswell 2.0 at least until we get in someone better in the near future. COYI

Cullen was great for Burnley, Moyes dropped the ball with him. Why sign Flynn Downes for £12 mill when we had a similar player in Cullen ….Moyes doesn’t trust our own youngsters what a fool !!!
One of the important things is if a player needs to be convinced about joining west ham or not enthusiastic then move on to the next target. We don't want us pleading with players almost begging them to join. Quick steps. If they start stalling then move on. Broja, Lingard and even kostic interest goes on too long.

I like Zielinsky as a player but it doesn’t appear that he’s overly keen to come – would be more excited aswell if he was 24-25… I’m not sure Kostic will happen but certainly hope it’s does – perfect whipper-in for the big man. I have a feeling we’ll get one or two done that we’ve not yet heard too much about

Presumably Diallo would be a Ben Johnson-type left back. Rock solid in defence, but lacking a bit going forward.
Kostic off and we've gone from bringing in another 3 to 4 to know being reported maybe one extra Moyes written of over this, he needs to stop being Sullivan's yes man and grow a set, said it before this club will never continue to progress while Moyes is Manager his reached his level and his stubborness is costing us point and squad depth, had enough of him.
