Manchester United have not had a great start to the season. And their new goalkeeper Andre Onana has a challenging start to his career at Old Trafford.
He has already made a few high-profile mistakes, and his underlying numbers suggest he’s performing much lower than expected.

he’s getting exposed he’s not the reason inter made it far. if you notice most vital players stay in the team until the become old. onana was let go for a reason he’s not that good inter defense is really good
united defense is not suited for a passing build up play . that’s why they allow a lot of shots and onana is ok at best for shot stopping

Not a MU fan. I think MU is a lot of hot air. Onana however has a very strong presence. He’s quite fearful to any penalty taker. He needs more time

Shows how confident he is from his defense. Yes, he's made mistakes but lets not forget this guy was playing the ucl final months ago. AND had a great game….. What has changed? The defense in front of him. So why the mistakes? He is not confident, bc Man U doesnt really ooze confidence right now at any level. Then they complain why the players are not working…. maybe they need to fix the dressing room before blaming new acquisitions.

As rubbish as United have been, people gladly ignore the fact that they have had this many injuries 6:23, many of them out injured at the same time.
Take that many 1st team players out of any team and they will struggle. Especially United who don't have enough depth anyway. Plus they have already been quite bad. Now they are horrible 😂

Let be honest with our selves Man United fans. Inter Milan is one of the top defensive lines in football right now and Onana probably got so used to top tier defending that it will take a while for him to adjust to Man United defensive line which is incredibly worse than Inter Milan. Like imagine going from Bastoni to Maguire.
so far it's bad. it's not only the clear mistakes. de gea also had those. but he also performs much less "miracle saves" than any top goalkeeper, doesn't catch a bunch of very catchable balls. and when he does he knocks the ball right back to the middle of the box. he looks like a field player trying to substitute a goalie sent off. and he's not even that great with his feet. just average. in a team that can't play from the back… i miss david more and more each week
