  1. Sigh, Berhalter is not the right coach for this team. I really tried to give him a fair shot but the longer this goes the more I see he's not going to be successful. Dest should have been crushed and instead he's the spoiled kid whos parent is in no way addressing his behavior. Berhalter is scared to address it too hard because he needs Dest to like him. He wants all the players to be his friend.

  2. It’s clear Dest has fallen from grace. He went from playing at a top club to finding a home at PSV. You talk to ANYONE 3 years ago, and nobody would’ve had Dest playing at PSV. He was supposed to be bigger than he turned out to be, and he shows it. Mental game is keeping him from self-actualizing.

  3. Sorry but an Instagram message doesn't cut it. He needs to get help as he's done elements of this before. Working his way back into the team needs to be contingent on getting anger management therapy.

  4. Say what you want, it was bad, poor from dest, but we have to back him. Lashing out at him would only make it worse and his problems would continue. It’s our job as fans to stay behind him through these times because he is a quality player and will come good. I disagree with Stevie, if berhaulter slaughters him publicly , nothing good comes out of that.

  5. Xavi saw who Dest was, folks thought Xavi was picking on him bc he didn't want an American in the starting lineup. It was never that, Xavi never had anything personal against Dest. But he saw a player who wasn't as talented as his ego made him appear and he saw immaturity. Sergino Dest is immature and if he isn't careful he could end up off the national team. Barca on the other hand will probably sell him for pennies when his PSV loan is over. We can hope this moment is a turning point for him mentally and he grows from here. Bc he is a good player and only 23. Don't kill your career brotha.

  6. He's acting like a baby on the pitch really. He shouldn't play for the next 3 international game with that attitude and behavior. He thinks playing in Barca and big clubs gonna help him get the line up.

  7. You kidding me? Never play for the US team for that? GTFO! He got pushed and he pushed back. Nicols is a stubborn old man and Shaka is just following.

  8. My lord i started listening to this without knowing what happened and they all sounded like dest headbutted or bit somebody or something like that but whaddayaknow.. a small push. And they are crying over that this much 🤦‍♂️ its not like he tackled and took out a player for a year. Pushing happens all the time in football. If you really look closely trinidad player shoved him first even. So red card is fair enough but don’t get so melodramatic over this please. So called ex hardcore football players.

  9. Just to think about what Messi had to deal with at Barcelona… Many average players… The moment they kicked him out they started to clean the team from those mediocre players.

  10. Matt turner was a borderline clueless D-3 goalkeeper in America. In AMERICA!!! He was never a quality goalkeeper. Somebody saw him, vouched for him, and the rest is history. He’s never been good lol.

  11. I don't support the US, but I would go as far as he shouldn't play for the national team ever again. He was actually trying to get sent off, sabotaging his own team. Plus he isn't even that good.

  12. I would honestly quit futbal and retreat in the mountains to live off rest of my life in shame . You get beat by Trinidad and Tobago who use coconuts as futballs and then in frustration you punt the ball ! LMFAO ! Go Trinidad

  13. shaka said it best man, no justification for the baby attitude, if Jose was at the helm, hed be buried already.. and they were in control, it was a nothing play,… let it go,.. and the fact he never did anything like this for the big teams he has played for.. all well said..
