  1. Lovely guy, i know a few fans that where a bit sceptical due to his past but he won them over on game week 1, clearly fully dedicated from start to finish. I saw him a few times as my kids went to the same school as his and he always had time for everyone, especially the kids that wanted pictures and autographs. I wish him nothing but success and feel he was a model professional throughout his time at Everton, he has earnt my respect and i thank him for his services to our team.

  2. Guys Jonathon Woodgate could have answered that with 2 teams, I used to be a professional chef in the early 00's he was a regular in a restaurant I worked at, he grew up in same area as my head chef at the time and I used to have great banter with him, when he joined Newcastle I was giving him stick about playing for our North Riding North Yorkshire Derby rivals Leeds to then join our Tyne Tees Rivals, I asked him if he would ever play for us and he replied yeah it's my hometown club the club I support its just football, he joined Madrid then came home, he walked into the restaurant and I greeted him with arms wide open and he just laughed and said does it mean that much, I said to any fan when the local boy comes home it means something no matter the team of course it means that much

  3. Everton’s loss if they’ve let coady go . Hope they get relegated they have the nastiest most bitter deluded fans in the country

  4. 100%. People forget that players and managers, medical staff, etc all at one point where fans of clubs throughout their childhood. That’s why they become players, managers etc. they were once fans. They still can support the club that they grew up supporting and playing for their rival. At the end of the day as a player, you have to do what’s best for your career. If that means going to a rival at some point, so be it. Business is business.

  5. I’m still stunned how we never signed Conor , the most professional player I’ve ever seen in a blue shirt , the will to win puts our current squad to shame , wish nothing but the best for him , coyb ps huge respect for Fozzie for knowing when time is time , loved the Wrexham story but putting the club before himself massive respect

  6. As a pro footballer, you should always celebrate a goal, no matter who you play against, it's your job, it's up to us fans that watch week in,week out to hate you for it, I'm a Liverpool fan and I still love Conor Coady, he was a great player when he was at Liverpool, no probs with the lad 🙂 x

  7. One of the most useless defenders in a back 4 I’ve ever seen, legend for us and always will be but my gosh isn’t he awful at defending. 😂

  8. Love Coady and we miss him badly at Everton.. but he’s so far off calling Tony Bellew a massive blue, he’s best pals with Kenwright and would rather see his pals destroy the club and collect s pay cheque than actually want the club to do well.

  9. Lot of time for Connor was solid and played his best for us in blue and wish he had stayed and we had got him for another few years
His goal v Liverpool was fine and was never off just another corrupt var

Tony ain’t a big blue he happy to get his spare tickets off bill and co won’t say anything bad about the owners

  10. Linekar has said several times he started supporting Leicester again after retired but when played he only cared about team he was playing for

  11. God knows why everton didnt sign coady for 4.5million…scouser (well, *haydock*!) Leader, england international……absolute ludicrous club 😂

  12. One misconception is that Coady is a local lad. He is actually from St.Helens which is on Merseyside (Used to be Lancashire) and this town is a mix of Liverpool, Everton and Man utd fans.
He grew up in the lancashire side of the town, haydock, but went school and youth football in the Scouse side of the town, Rainford. So he is not technically a local lad but does represent the values and morals of the city of Liverpool as if he was from there.
Similar with Gerrard, he was born in Whiston and went to Whiston juniors which is politically part of St.Helens. However, Gerrard grew up in Huyton, the outskirts of Liverpool but actually in Liverpool.
Theres a reason the accents differ between coady, gerrard and carragher.
