      OK, full disclosure: Seattle fan here, Dallas' first two goals were great. Obvious foul by Nouhou leading to the PK, and beautiful service in for the header on the second goal.

      BUT – Dallas got more than a little lucky. Ruidiaz being taken down in the area is a clear PK, regardless of the refs decision. And no, it doesn't matter if the ball was going to make it to him, a foul is a foul, period. Further, Ferreira had no way of knowing the ball wasn't going to make it through when he decided to foul Ruidiaz. Clear foul, clear pk.

      On top of that, outside of the first 20 minutes or so, when we were absolutely dreadful, Seattle was clearly the better team. By more than a little. But as the saying goes, if you don't score, it doesn't matter if you were better.

      Lastly, seeing a number of "A knee for a knee" signs being held up by Dallas fans is saddening. I would never wish for an injury on the other team, no matter the reason. Nevermind the fact that the injury in question happened in minute 1 of game 1. There was no malicious foul or attack, just bad luck. Hats off to Velasco for playing an additional 17 minutes with a blown knee. Dude's a badass.

      If you’re a fan of actual soccer/football this playoff format is RETARDED. One team can pound the other at home, go away lose 1-0 and still play a third. Here on away goal differential Sounders are through. MLS needs to get this right next season

      This is why two legged ties are far better and enjoable than the 3 leg games MLS is using. 2-0 win for Seattle in leg 1, 3-1 win Dallas in leg two, 3-3 aggregate score meaning extra time and possible penalties.

      Now its Game 3 and the first two games were pointless because you might as well have had a winner take all game to start with.

      These weird rules confuse me… you’re telling me if team A wins the first game 6-0, then draws a second game 0-0 but loses on penalties, there’s a third match, and if they draw that one 0-0 as well and lose on penalties again then team B goes through? Even though they scored 0 goals and conceded 6 in total?

      MLS is a mess the playoff format is senseless. Some teams play 3 matches other teams playing only 2. It’s dumb. Who watches this crap.

      Ever wonder why the crowd keeps shrinking in Frisco ??? The “Hunt Family” refuses to invest in quality super stars & typically their “”best” prodigy players they develop like “Westin McKinney” & Ricardo PePe just to name a few are ‘SOLD OFF’ to ENRICH the HUNT SPORTS GROUP…. Screw the fans. 30 years and (1) time made it to a championship…. Always knocked out by lesser teams FOR YEARS.
      *And now – without buying APPLE TV – I HAVE YET TO SEE THE LOSERS PLAY EXCEPT ON YouTube highlights. What a way to run / ruin a team, fan base and organization !!!! SUCH A SCAM IN CALLAS.
