To me his best position is as a box to box midfielder. With his pace and energy, you have to let him go forward.

He needs a powerful midfielder who can deal with being under pressure next to him.
Declan Rice to me isn't in full potential because of the position we play him. By January Arsenal should sign very good defensive midfielder like Douglas Luis so that Rice can play 8, box to box becoz he's very mobile, energetic, strong, skillful, quick, and he can score.
We had A few very boring game this season
In the last 20 years of the the premier league the champions have conceded 28 to 30goals. last year we conceded over 40 goals just in the premier league we scored 15 more goals than the invincbles but we conceded to much last year that where we lost the league and arteta knows he needs that solidarity to be a champion

Some of our own fans wrote him off before we signed him and were begging for Caicedo instead. Caicedo is a very good player, but he doesnโt possess that long distance athleticism, positional discipline and leadership that Deccers has. Rice can be one of the Prem greats if it all goes according to plan.
Zero yellow cards in 12 games is insane for a DM btw. Contrast that with a player like Bissouma, whoโs already on 6 and received a red card. Casemiro similarly rash as well. Itโs why Rice is a much better DM than Bissouma despite the latter being more flashy.Whatโs the point of aesthetics if youโre also committing more mistakes?

Nobody noticed and talk about Gabrial Mangles , he have very good passing ability from the defence. He should play up in midfield in Partay Position and kevior on the left central. Rice in Xaka position will guarantee us 10 goals a season and better defence in midfield. Gabriel will make good in defence and also create more further forward. Hope Arteta re thinks
Declan Rice for England vs Malta and last season at West Ham proved in the midfield 2 he should be the one joining the attack like Xhaka last season. For fabio and Havertz combined fee of ยฃ102m we should of got Caicedo ยฃ105m smh Arteta MUST get Rice a proper CDM and let him play further forward ๐
