James, Cancelo, Walker get beaten all the time but the spotlight is only on Trent for some reason. The only right back whoβs consistently good defensively is Ben White and its no coincidence heβs a natural center back. In the modern game 90% of fullbacks are attack minded and get caught out defensively a lot.

When you come up against Liverpool you know you might get a chance out of Trent but you also know he could hurt you in multiple ways. Too many full backs play safe passing backwards all the time but this kid has the minerals and quality to split defences wide open with 60 yd passes so just him being on the pitch affects how teams will play against us. Pickford, Stones and Maguire have mistakes in them just as much as he does. Leicester fan before ppl accuse me of being a Trent fanboy

Misunderstood is the perfect word. He seems like such a intelligent and nice lad, I think if Klopp got a good defensive right back Trent could be like Bale and really take off on the wing. He isn't a natural defender and going forward is his strength just like Bales was.
Our own media always have and always will ruin our best English players. Imagine if we actually got behind our best players
The English mentality is to forget the 1000 good moments and headline the 1 bad moment. Imagine how boring Brazil would be if they thought that way.
If trent was from brazil or france hed have 100s of caps and be 1 of the first names on the team sheet every game, same with foden, shame how the english team is managed

In my opinion, wing backs or full backs are attacking players who simply mark. It's extremely rare you find one who can defend. CB's defend.

Well spoken & a good right back but have to be honest heβs comments calling viewers who criticise his defender as βlazy opinionsβ is false, itβs just a weakness to his game that is there for all to see and people will comment on it as heβs a high profile player. Not just fans but pundits can all see he is poor defensively. Itβs so clear thereβs no way anybody can deny it.
