The goals given to Man City and the Manchester United Palace by the VAR were on the 6 yard line in an offside position. The original 2 footed tackle and the Romero kicking out was also missed

This was actually very good VAR officiating for once, not enjoyed a lot of VAR this season but credit where it is due
First frame is onside, second frame is offside. No way of seeing the exact moment the ball is kicked and then they draw some arbitrary lines to decide where his shoulder ends and backside begins? The margin of error is wild and yet they call it offside for a few mm! Oh, and it takes them 5 mins (of a 90 min game) while everyone else just stands there and waits… Make it make sense!

im new to following football, but i just don't understand the foul on romero, everyone saying he's a dirty player so he deserved getting sent off which i understand i guess, dont see how it applys though. but what does everyone want him to do in that situation? somehow clear the ball and defy physics by stopping his foot before it follows through or alternatively not do his job as a defender and just let the attacker have a shot…….. like enzo didn't even make an attempt, he ran up to the ball and just stood still waiting for contact

This is stupid. The end result here is probably the right one but they shouldn’t have wasted so much time checking the offside. If you need to draw line on pixels then it’s by definition not a clear and obvious error. All they needed to do was to check if the player was in fact impeding play. No wonder people complain VAR takes forever.

Sorry but this is not at all scientific. Number one there is an issue with the frame amount and selection. That part is already very subjective why not use Frame 3 as the ball is still in contact. For those line fixing don't even get me started cause every step of the way is subjectivity after subjectivity. Not at all a scientific process. Terrible. I wasn't that anti VAR until I saw this video of how it works.
