Antony was so much more direct and was a way better descion maker at Ajax. He looks like a completely different player at United. Im a United fan and i seriously cant remember him in a whole year taking his man on with pure pace and getting a cross in or having a shot. He either plays it back to the RB or CM or just dips inside and curls one wide/over the bar. Its the same 2 moves every single time š¤¦š»āāļø.

So many of us literally said that Antony isnāt tearing up the Dutch league and that should be a worry to United, but we were ājust hatingā or ājealousā. Sometimes fans need to understand not everyone that says something you consider negative about your club is hating, sometimes you just canāt remove your bias and see what is in front of you.
Antony is legitimately one of the worst PL signings of all time when you factor in the fee. Now itās not Ten Hags fault that the United board is so incompetent that they ended up paying that for him, but it is his fault to identify him as a target in the first place.

Other teams definitely use data to buy players . Look at liverpool buying players that the data says are the best . But we buy varane aftee a shocking season , we keep lindeloff for example . The price is the issue. He isnāt 100 mill no way. If heās a hundred Iām worth at least 20. However if he was bought for 50ā¦ then we might say that 12 and 3 I think isnāt that bad.
