I love that he sneaked in that he KNOWS some ppl are saying that he 'stands around' just waiting to be fed passes by Maddi and whoever else to do the 'hard work' so he can merely provide the finish.
That's not true.
The truth is that everybody is tasked with what they do best and what he does best is reading the game, speeding into the perfect position, remaining cool when being challenged by 3 defenders and the keeper, deciding how heavy or light a touch of the ball is needed, finding a space through a small, tight angle and scoring with a flourish.
All that involves split second decision making and a mind like a steel trap and most importantly, INSTINCT, which not everybody has.
Would you get a bomb expert and a sniper to exchange duties?
