Hazard was great, but Salah is miles better. It’s funny that Flex says he’s terrified every time Hazard plays against his team when Hazard only scored 3 goals against Man United. Salah terrorizes Man United every time he plays them.
Can we please stop pretending that Salah never did absolutely insane things on a football pitch? That game where he scored the wonder goal against Man City was a better performance than any Hazard performance against a big team. Salah’s performance in the UCL semifinal against Roma had Gerrard, Lampard, Ferdinand, and Lineker in awe. Hazard never did anything in the UCL.

Flex will be bricking next time Salah and his mates face up to the Utd rabble. I liked Hazard as much as I could like a Chelsea player, he was quality. But I have also seen Salah dribble through defenses and send world class defenders on holiday while banging 40 goal involvements per season, so I cannot deny what is right before me. But it doesn't matter who the best player is/was, it's a privilege to watch masters at work.

People seem to forget that Hazard was elite at 18/ 19. He was at the very top for about a decade. That's longevity. Longevity isn't just how late into your 30's you can play. Salah became elite in his mid 20's when Hazard was already doing it for several years. There is a reason why when they were both at Chelsea Hazard was the main man and Salah barely played.
