  1. As per everyone doing these Doku/Grealish comparisons, here are 2 stats that will def put more pressure on Grealish and perhaps as Pep said in press conference Saturday post game, “make him angry.” Doku has played 13 games (sub & starter) has a G/A 10 while Jack has played 11 games (sub & starter) and has 1 G/A. I trust in Jack and his ability and know he is capable of improving his G/A over last year (as Pep had said several times in back half of last season).

In any case, Doku with a little more control and Jack with a little more G/A would be killer for us!! Common City!!!!

  2. Sorry Julien, you're wrong on this one. Doku gives Man City an added spark, one that was sorely needed. In my opinion, Man City focus too much on controlling the ball and trying to cleverly breakdown the opposition defence. So much so that at times it's as though they have forgotten that the objective is to actually put the ball into the opposition goal. Yes, that eventually happens at some point after 50 passes or so but in the meantime the opposition, who have sat back and absorbed the attacks, may have countered and scored one for themselves. Jeremy gives Man City another option, a more direct, in your face approach at breaking down the defence. Like Jack, he creates chaos and gets the defence to run ragged. He is more than ready.

  3. He's different type player Man city never had, fast quick and unstoppable 1 v1 when teams sit deeps and defend with 5 defenders he is the solution and Sunday match was proof of that

  4. If young ( left winger )Doku continues at this level, Pep will easily choose him and Grealish will be on the bench. This guy just needs to adapt his choices with Haaland in big games and Grealish will also be good on the bench.

  5. I think he will push grealish out next season, doku goes forward where grealish seems to have reverted back to his first season of shimmy shimmy then go sideways and lay off the ball. Doku is far more direct and offers a bigger threat, grealish doesn't score or provide assists that much

  6. Two things to think about. First,Doku is a full 24 months younger than Foden 😳 He is very young. And he can take over an EPL match. Second, look closely at the two Silva assists. You would be hard pressed to find more than a handful of players who are capable of providing both. The second looked like some KDB might do 😳 Doku has all the abilities to be world class once he adds 10+ goals to his game.

  7. Juls is a cautious pessimist. Doku has only been there for 3months. He is young, dangerous, terrorizes his fullback, makes attempts on goal. Grealish would rather do sideways or back pass, is afraid of taking shots on goal. What coach on the planet wants a goal shy winger?

  8. Doku is most probably the most exciting player in world football right now. After a year under Pep he is gonna be unstoppable.

  9. I understand their point, I am Belgian. However, I must clarify that Belgium got knocked out by Italy and Doku came on as a sub. He introduced himself to the world. We all felt that if he had started the game, we could've won. Nobody knows if he's truly ready. People thought he would be a flop? Everyone expected him to need 1 season to adjust. While we are here, he has been doing the Griddy in 3 kits already. Whether he will start or not in big games. He has delivered what was expected of him. To bring CHAOS and a different DIMENSION. The sole purpose of his signing is his ability to be direct and take 1 v 1's. As of now, he's the best at that. I am not talking about his shooting, passing, or tracking back. This guy is a steal.

  10. This guy dissing doku is just pitifully bitter. Jules appreciate a great footballer when you see one. This was part of his integration plan under pep but look back at this video in 4 months time and see how stupid your comment about him is.

  12. Doku is a beast. Big baller. The reason why Pep rotates him is because he still needs more time to adopt to Pep's system. So far, he has exceeded what was expected by this current time. He's a fast learner. Look out 💙💙

  13. He's like dembele young or till now. Just runs forward without any clear plan what to do next. Like sterling. Lol. That's why he doesn't start in big games. Many players who are quick wingers are like him.

  14. Pep said it himself; Man city are not sure how Doku's Body will react to playing 2+ games a week bcoz he's never had to do that before. Jules is talking nonsense.
