Varana plays right cb but Maguire is playing well so no issue there

I don't know who should be more embarrassed, ETH and his tactics or the forward players at MU? 'Embarrassment' is an under statement when the number one source of goals in the PL is Midfielders and after that comes defenders.

We’ve wasted too much money buying too much Tripe. Also quite a few players need to go. Onana Simply CANNOT catch a ball.
The remarkable thing is that despite the injuries, key players out of form and VAR we are only six points off 2nd. Assuming we get Martinez ,Shaw and Casemiro fit by Xmas without dropping a shed load of points in the meantime and assuming Mount gets properly integrated and our forwards start scoring at some point we could conceivably finish above everyone bar City.
The problem with Varane is he can’t stay fit to put a run of games together and no manager wants musical chairs at centre back.
Have you seen the Chelsea influencers using uniteds situation in their videos to distract. They keep talking about the fact Ten Haag should get sacked. In my opinion its them trying to distract from their own poor situation and they are trying to put pressure on Ten Haag instead of Poch.
Hojlund is exactly what he is……over-priced, not ready to be the main man, but a lot of potential. Could do with even a Callum Wilson/Ollie Watkins type to give us options. Seems obvious EtH was expecting to have Greenwood available.

Mount, Rashford, Martial, Antony and Sancho can all be sold in January.
If we can ship off Varane and Casemiro to Saudi, and get half decent money, we should take it. Hope we finally stop signing these ageing players on the downward spiral……especially for big money.
Steve. I think Real Madrid knew what they were doing when they let Varane and Casemiro go. After good starts the premier league teams have cottoned on to the fact that they’re weak under pressure. With regard to Varane just check out the number of games he played each year for Real Madrid and it might surprise you. His legs just can’t take the rigours of modern day football
. At best we’ll get 25 games a year out of him and this is not enough to establish a great central defensive pairing with anyone. How many games in the past years at United has Maguire missed through injury. Half a dozen? Can’t see anyone replacing him now he’s got his mojo back. Same goes for Mactominay. Time will tell
