Marcus Rashford has been sent off for Manchester United against Copenhagen.

On Wednesday night, United arrived at the Parken Stadium in a bid to take a step closer to the last-16 in the Champions League.

United are currently third in Group A after losing to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray. A narrow win against Copenhagen last time out kept their hopes of reaching the knockout stages alive.

  1. As a neutral, I think it is a harsh red card. I am not sure that it is deliberate and it is not a stamp. It seems he is trying to hold off the defender and stands on his ankle. Only a yellow card for me, it was not a malicious or a reckless challenge.

  2. Ref bent as a door nail. Look at the full game and it's obvious and rasfords red should be scrubbed off. Look at the clip in real time. Zero malice. Foul on Rasmus Cleary ignored by var and red.easy to win when United aren't just playing the other team but the refs as well!

  3. Clearly reckness, intentional or not does not matter. Such fouls can lead to serious injuries and so there is nothing wrong with the red card.
