During Soccer Saturday, Paul Merson and Clinton Morrison clashed over Marcus Rashford.
Erik ten Hag called Marcus Rashford’s trip to a nightclub after their Manchester derby defeat “unacceptable” but says the striker has apologised.
The forward is badly out of form, with just one goal in 14 games for United this season but was seen partying to celebrate his birthday hours after his side lost to Manchester City 3-0 at Old Trafford.

Wow so animated over a rubbish player enjoying his birthday, perspective
its truly sad that everything is based on "optics" and public perception…
This conversation has really shown how much people lack love in their lives. Bare sad and unloved people in the comments section.
Talking paul merson who got pissed up everyweek I was good at drinking, didn't get hangovers': Paul Merson reveals he 'never had a day off' despite addiction to alcohol during his playing career… admitting that he would go straight to training following a night out , 'hypocrite '
The problem is not really the birthday, though as Clinton said, an organized meal might have been better than the nightclub, however, the problem is that Rashford does not put in enough of a shift on the football pitch and has not for most of this season. That's what upsets most fans. Yes, he put in more effort by running around more in the Manchester derby but he needs to do that every single game; he is not more important than any other player and he is not bigger than the club. He also needs to stop being selfish and make better decisions on the pitch.
Valid points from Danny, Paul and Clinton but Marcus needs to be streetwise
I understand the sentiments but George Best was the ultimate party animal win lose or draw. I remember there were times George was found with several women and football is to be played or games were lost and you are going to bemoan a man for celebrating his birthday
It was shortsighted of Rashford, of course he deserves a life but not performing sends a message, partying after not performing compounds that message, he should know it invites the kind of negative attention that ultimately effects performance and confidence, silly move
This is sad ye theyre on a lot of money but theyre still human. No wonder footballers retire before their times up. Imagine your boss no matter how much youre on telling you what to do in your own private time.
Have your party and blow out your candles at home
The bottom line is man Utd are horrendous, can’t to go out for a meal wtf 👀
football is too controlling.
Leave the lad too enjoy his family time
These Pundits……..😅😅😅
