This is correct and puzzles me because it happens to everyone. The SUFC that played City doesn’t lose 8-0 to Newcastle.

I feel like 1-0 would have been a lot less contentious, and I’d rather we were just talking about us winning than fixating on the pen.
That said, I do think it was a pen. Baldock played for it, but literally 32,000 people knew he was about to do exactly what he did; hanging a leg out like their guy did was just THE stupidest bit of football. Definite contact, down he goes, ref sticks to form and gives a dodgy decision, VAR will never overturn anything with contact.
We deserved to win by one goal, so it all worked out. Wolves were so much worse than I thought they would be in that second half.
