Sorry, but if they think Gallagher is in the team for any other reason than that Chelsea at present not having recruited a player better than him they need to wake up. As for the assist against Chelsea, that's like passing the ball to your goal keeper who heads up the pitch and scores and then you claiming credit for an assist, when an assist is supposed to indicate a significant contribution to the result of a goal. Of course those wishing to promote him as a great player, whether he is or not, for reasons that have nothing to do with football, will hope we forget the assist was barely an assist, but let's judge players without looking for ways to fiddle the truth stats should enlighten us on. He has one assist and one that can barely be called an assist and has to work on improving that stat to help the team score or score himself. That is his challenge that cannot be ignored and will come as a result of the quality of decisions he makes on the pitch to serve that objective and become a better player and a player that is as good as other good players that do his job or play his position. Having said that he is doing a good job for the team considering his present capability as he tries to improve and I hope he can get better and he is getting better, but I will not give him credit for achieving what he has not yet achieved. Nobody won anything by pretending they have achieved what they did. Poch was asked about what qualities he sees in Gallagher and his reply was that he runs. That tells you everything. Peace and love

It's easy to give Potch all the credit for Connor's improvement, but a tiny bit should also go Frank Lampard, who started him in almost every game, when he was in charge. All experience builds a player.

I think sanchez is getting alot of heat unnecessarily, at the end of the day the player is still human and will make mistakes, but imo he is solid just give him this season before we talk about another keeper.
