I don’t think I see a more ridiculed player than Kai Havertz at the moment.
This year it started with a quote “All-Stars Skills Challenge”
Yes… a friendly competition at the start of preseason. That just shows the appetite people have to hate on this guy. There were fail-comps going viral on Twitter. Any other player doing poorly in the challenge and it wouldn’t have even registered to anyone else but the Arsenal fans watching. That’s the enigma of Kai Havertz.
So why’s he so hated? And why do I feel it’s so misguided?

Havertz averaged 10G/A every season at Chelsea, was influential in big games, won 3 trophies either scoring or assisting in those finals
Havertz is the kind of player that can single-handedly make a team better
Madrid wanted him this summer, he’s an easy prey because he isn’t arrogant and doesn’t make a fuss.

I also think, a lot is about the narrative. If you have a look on his stats compared to Xhake, you could easily confuse them cause of Havertz' strong defensive skills which are often not recognized as part of his new role as a midfielder. Since he was a striker before, too many just focus on his direct goal contributions. He needs to improve offensively, but overall there's already a decent foundation to build on. Support him, and don't break such talented guy who is part of our team, COYG!

Kai Harvetz what's his best position? How do you use him? These are the frustrating questions fans of Chelsea death with and now Arsenal fans are asking same questions…. I don't hate him but I never really understood how such a talent struggles to make a position his and succeed in English football.
Great video. People can’t work him out because his role doesn’t exist much anymore. He’s an old school number 10.
I'm not going to go into detail on why Havertz is such a frustratingly inconsistent, overrated player — but just this: On SofaScore EPL ratings he is the 14th highest rated player on Arsenal and last season he was the 15th highest rated player on a terrible Chelsea team! 60 million was a huge waste of money and Chelsea is v happy that their rivals paid that much for him.
