  1. It seems to me, it's the coaching. Our current coach, Greg, does not have the soccer knowledge of other coaches. I think our players are as good in many, if not most, cases as the players on the teams we play against. Coaching, coaching, coaching.

  2. Played great in the first half and looked dangerous but Berhalter is a clown of a coach. He always gets out coached and never makes proper adjustments.

  3. Is it just me or does Kasey Keller (brilliant goalie btw, loved him and wished he'd signed for City in 90s!) look like a bald WWF/WWE's I.R.S? Every time I see him I just think "he's going to 'write off' anyone that disagrees!"

  4. Its just tactics. Their initial press was bad. Germany's passing would draw a forward>they'd step, break the us shape>Germany's CB could make a pass to the pivot>pivot to winger>combination play etc. Either high press man to man or sit deeper and let them pass around

  5. The day THESE reporters/individuals talking about Futbol/Fussball/Futebol players to soccer athleticism player because dismissing fussball player to mechanical athleticism player is a joke. Its a 50s mindset from EPL.
Players have to be a futebol player First!!!
Example: Jordan a GREAT technical basketball Player with the BALL. Who RECEIVED help with other GOOD basketball players. His team did not build a team with athletes. They got players who can learn to be athletes, knowing the sport is critcal.

ESPN/Fox/NBC /ABC/CBS Believe that an athletes can play fussball. Yes, just like pub players they can play but does not mean they're GOOD.

  6. This team is absolute shambles. They cannot defend for their life. They operated best when attacking but, defensively they are not good enough. I think it’s time for a different coach.

  7. It’s a friendly, it’s a chance to try to play and get better and see if there are lineups and player combinations that can really play in possession and compete against a European side. These analysts are a perfect example of everything that is wrong with the attitudes of US soccer, which is well we’re not good enough to play with Germany so let’s just defend and pray. At least Berhalter is trying to establish the US as a team that can play. The friendlies are a great opportunity to do that.

  8. I love how americans think they have more athleticism haha. They fell off after the 60th minute haha. They just couldnt compete against germany in any aspect
