Georginio Rutter signed for Leeds United in January 2023, and when he arrived he didn’t seem to be a good player. His performances seemed poor and he barely got any minutes under his two managers. That all changed this season, where the Leeds man is ripping up the Championship. Ahead of Leeds vs Stoke, find out more about how Rutter is starting to make a big name for himself at Elland Road.

  1. Rutter is what fm players call a complete striker on support duty. He can drop deep, carry the ball, assist and finish chances. Plays some good football under Farke

  2. Under Bielsa,in the final third it was chaos, why? Simply a lack of quality, Harrison isn't fit to lace the boots of players such as Rutter and Summerville, they're are young but what they lack in experience, their talent always will come through, they've very nearly got that forward play sussed, will happen as the season develops, we're seeing it now, end product ends games.

  3. I think that by not playing Rutter and Gnonto, that Javi Gracia (and even Big Sam) played a bigger part in our relegation than even Jesse Marsche did. At least the players (generally speaking) seemed to LIKE Jesse, and he did tend to play at least SOME of the right players. Javi (and even Big Sam) could have saved us from relegation if they had of used Gnonto and Rutter, and also if they had of organised the defense.
That is how I felt last season and was saying the same thing at that time.
