  1. A reminder than football wasn’t invented in 1992, legends like Greaves, Charlton should never ever be forgotton (Greaves IS in fact the all time top scorer in the first division NOT Shearer)

In the NBA they celebrate players like Kareem Abdul Jabbar from the 70s and Wilt Chamberlain in the 60s but for some reason we have forgotten everything before the start of the ‘New’ Premier league and only celebrate players past that Era. It’s a complete farce and disgrace. Rip Sir Bobby Charlton, England’s greatest and let’s have some respect for the people who made the English First Division what it is today.

  2. In regards of their performances for England at Major Tournaments, my list is:

    1. Sir Bobby Charlton
    2. Bobby Moore
    3. Gary Lineker
    4. Ashley Cole
    5. Gordon Banks
    6. Paul Gascoigne
    7. Sol Campbell
    8. Stuart Pearce
    9. Michael Owen
    10.Peter Shilton

England have had alot of great players, but very few that have put in outstanding performances in multiple tournaments.

  3. RIP Sir Bobby Charlton, one of English football's biggest ever legends, a true great of the game but let's not hyperbole here like many have been since his passing. He is NOT the greatest English player ever.

  4. Sir Bobby Charlton is the blueprint of what a Manchester United player should be on and off the pitch he was and still is Mr. Manchester United it's easy to forget that he was there long before Sir Alex Ferguson who built the modern Manchester United but it all stems from the busby babes I'll never forget him crying in 1999 that win was for the busby babes that's why its the greatest treble of all time.
