  1. Said ages ago – you can't rely on Tyler Adams. It would be like in the early 2000's building around John O'Brien. Very very good player, but too oft injured. The Reyna stuff… he's a good player. Regardless of manager he has to have discipline and learn how to be an adult and professional. Reyna likely needs to go out on loan. And the loan could be valuable if he doesn't play in the UCL and can leave in January to a club in say the Netherlands. IMHO he should stay away from England or a France and be cautious of Italy.

Berhalter – I don't think he should've returned as second cycle managers have always been disastrous for the US & if I'm being honest I think he could have been manager of the US again in the future after gaining much more experience with the day-to-day at club level. Worse the USSF is such a disaster they basically wasted an entire year of prep for 2026.

The bigger issue than Reyna is Berhalter and Adams IMHO. Berhalter has to figure out how to be flexible with the roster to account for him not being there and if the odd chance he is there, how to successfully re-integrate him. He's got a ton of work to do and these complexities are where the lack of day-to-day experience can hurt because there might not be as much to draw on, so it's 'test and learn'.

  2. I think Koleosho is playing it smart. He’s only 19 so wait a while before fully committing. The team that needs him the most is Canada as he would likely be a starter in day one for them. But if his heart is in Italy then by all means he should give them the inside track.

  3. Mark McKenzie played 90 min the day of the Berhalter interview when he said Mark is out with a broken toe. 🤔

  4. Maloney has been on the Bundesliga team of the week, how is that not enough to get a call up? The best backup for Tyler Adams is a double pivot with Wes and Musah with Musah playing slightly deeper, & of course Gio playing as the 10.

  5. The coverage of this is ridiculous "since the controversy" YOU MEAN SINCE MOMMY AND DADDY EXTORTED THE COACH FOR NOT PLAYING THEIR SON? 😂😂😂 Absolutely ridiculous

  6. The fact that this is still being talked about 10 months later is ridiculous. Be adults, talk it out, and move on. They’ve turned the Berhalter-Reyna situation into an extended soap opera.

  7. Every time Berhalter opens his mouth it makes me cringe. Takes smug to a different level. I admit I do like the roster he chose, but let's be real here. Hard to give him credit for picking the obvious (best) talent we have finally. While I like the roster, he will find a way to mismanage, whether it is starting lineups or idiotic formations and tactics that dont suit our players' skillset

  8. Gio rena and balogun is about to make a lot of statements for 2026 World Cup and the two understands how to play with each other very well and how to find each other, but you Gara have tyler Adam as a best defender on the pitch for usmt to beat other good teams too.
