The Irish fans sang it recently at the rugby world cup, the original version Zombie that is, from 1994 by Irish band The Cranberries. The whole stadium sang it after Ireland beat South Africa in a ferocious battle, their rendition was pretty awesome. Doesn't suit Sonny, the original song had a serious message and I think the Irish have taken the song to heart as an anthem so I'd leave it alone. Let's just stick with 'Nice One Sonny'.

Don't know where I read or heard this song about HMS, but it's stuck in my head ever since and (as good as the video's song is), would sound amazing with 60,000 people singing it. You'll know the tune – think Morecombe & Wise. It goes:

If this is your lyrics, feel free to say hello and take the credit. Apologies if i've got the wording the wrong way round. Also because the Angels song got a bit of limelight all the writers have started writing pop songs instead of stadium songs. Stadium songs should be simple and easy to sing with few words getting to the point. If we were to sing the video's song at the stadium, we'd probably have conceded a goal by the time we get to the chorus. 😂
