  2. City fans are the real Manchester fans. They have really been through the ringer over the years. Dropped down to the old division 3 in the near past. Look at the stick United fans used to give them. Should be a cracking match.

  3. Man City are top of the league and they don´t even look like they´re firing on all cylinders yet. So maybe it´s actually the best time to play them, especially if they have key injuries, and while West Ham are on a roll. One thing for sure, though, there hasn´t ever been a better West Ham team line up against a Pep side. I imagine Soucek will come in to bolster the midfield, probably at Benrahma´s expense, and the rest of the team will stay the same, set up like the Brighton game. If they have to chase the game at least Moyes knows that replacing Soucek with Benrahma – or better still Kudus – works fine. Paqueta will play left out of possession, and maybe have a freer role on the break – hopefully he will want to show Pep what he can do. I´m a bit worried about the Zouma-Haaland and Coufal-Foden match-ups though – and JWP and Soucek will have to play deep to cover. I have a feeling that Alvarez and Rodri will have a few battles too and hopefully the ref isn´t card happy. Containment and clinical counter attack has been West Ham´s M.O. so far this season and it might be the way to beat this City side. And Moyes also has a joker to play – in the unknown quantity Kudus – if need be. But Areola will have to have another stormer probably. I´ll go for an unlucky 1-1.

  4. Unlikely we'll get anything but it's just cause they are too good.
If the international break hasn't taken away our momentum, the atmosphere is good and we don't just sit back for all 90 minutes then we could maybe get a point if we're lucky. I would bite your hand off for that.

  5. Always loved West Ham. When Ian Bishop played for you, it was like watching one of our own doing well. In common with Tricky Trev, I like that he has stuck with both clubs. Great to see them both supporting us and the irons in both e-cup finals.

  6. My head says 2-1 to City but my heart says we get a free kick or penalty very late on and Paquetá scores to make it 2-2. COYI! ✊🏼⚒🦘

  7. It has to be another 3-1 win for the hammers. Kudus could be the surprise package. If only moyes played him. But I know he won't. We need to get stuck in from the first minute. We have taken the lead in all 4 games this season. Again please. 1-0 half time.

  8. More important imho to beat Sheffield United than City or Liverpool. We still need to gap potential relegation rivals before dreaming of Europe etc

  9. Many years ago after an op at Manchester royal infirmary i ended up in a large ward with about 10 other guys. I was surprised to learn that every single one of them was a Man City fan. I questioned this and they stated that they were true Mancunians and that A disproportionate number of Man U fans are not from manchester and that also includes the club.

  10. Hate as west ham fans many have such low expectations.we should be looking to win every game even against champions of Europe, not rather win other ones that this one. I want to win the league one day so we need a winning attitude whoever we play

  11. I'd change it up and go 4312 usual back 4 then alvarez paqueta jwp in the 2 then kudus behind bowen and antonio 👍🏻

  12. Sitting on the balcony in the sunshine, mug of tea, big bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes and Geo/Gonzo match preview. My god life is good. Even better if we can get a point of three off City. Keep up the good work lads. COYI⚒️

  13. Arsenal and man utd have the worst fans, unbearable, not everyone obviously but boy you get proper arrogant when they are doing well

  14. We have made a phenomenal start to the season and things are looking great, but make no bones, Shitty are arguably the best team on the planet. I will love to see us grab a draw here, but after taking my 'fans bias goal' off my predicted scoreline, I am left with a 1 – 2 loss. I just hope we don't ruin Kudos by throwing him in at the deep end, for his West Ham christening.

  15. Man city will beat us. Why ? Cos haaland is on fire, he will single handedly obliterate us. There is no one that can stop him. Not even our entire team.
