  1. 5:06 I don’t understand how she can be more disappointed about the 2nd half than she was excited in the 1st given the context that we were already up 4-0 and subbed out all our goal scorers at half while Ghana kept all their starters in. There was always going to be a drop off in that scenario.

  2. Ghana are 60th, a place above Qatar who got destroyed at the WC.
Good result but anyone who uses this result as vindication for GGG needs to get their head checked.

The problem with GGG is that while he always manages to get the results that he should. Any team who is heading in the right direction needs to show that they can beat the teams that they shouldn't on paper.

This team is capable of upsetting big teams but with GGG as head coach, I don't believe that will ever happen.

  3. After these last two games, I am left completely baffled about what is our level. We clearly are not ready to compete with the elites of Europe but better than Africa's best (exception Morocco). I would say we are notch below Japan…. thoughts anyone?

  4. Berhalter is not getting the best out of these players not using them to their strengths. Flo finally had a good game but who knows how we’ll use him next game. He’s wasting such great young talent. Aaronson & Pepi should be giving us so much more. They could be such great energy coming off the bench

  5. Ghana played horrible and are transitioning from lose of quality players and need to rebuild. The US wins this game as they should but understand they are no where near top tier teams like the best of Europe or South America

  6. "Are the USMNT taking positive steps under Gregg Berhalter?" Easy… NO. Then the rest of this video is just blah blah blah because you have 4 people who know exactly ZERO about what they're talking about and are just saying whatever their producers tell them to.

  7. Behalter has awful tactics, he is going to waste our generational talent that may not come again in a some years. Look at what happened to England in the early 2000's , Belgium in 2010's generatinal talent came and went and did nothing. The US is not even at their level so it could get worse. Mexico drew with the same Germany team that spanked the team. He has to go!!

  8. Ghana is a small, poor nation. USA is literally the most powerful nation that has ever existed.
Let’s first see if we can beat small countries like Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium

  9. Just because USA can beat Mexico or other nations with no good players doesn’t mean USA going in the right path or at their prime let USA start beating Europe teams and then we can judge

  10. Ghana was shocking. I will give Berhalter credit they got the result they should've & while it should've been 6-0 at half, Berhalter couldn't control the save or Pulisic shooting at the keeper. What was smart was to play the counter. Unfortunately though still some suspect finishing except for Balogun. But you're not going to get away with Dest getting forward like that against better sides.

  11. I think you are right. What happened in the second half? We saw a similar pattern against Germany. Is Gio the key to our offense? Could Malik Tilman be a reasonable back up to Gio? Does Tyler Adams help or hurt our attack? We know he helps our defense.

Berhalter is doing well pulling the team together. Thankfully, that includes Gio. I give him props for that. I hope he is able to do as well organizing the team and making it potent. Sometimes those two don't go together. For example, Jose Mourinho has show to be toxic for team chemistry and he he has gotten key results. Honestly, I think the pressure is on the coach more than it has been for any other US national team. Previous coaches have had to do more with less. Berhalter has the best talent we have ever had as a national team. If he cannot make this team hum, he has no excuses. The blame will be his.

  12. “I’m more disappointed in the second half the excited about the first half”. What an absolute idiotic statement for a friendly. Everyone that knows anything about Friendlies in international soccer knows that the first half and maybe the first 15 minutes of the second half are really what matter. Also when you’re up 4-0 in a friendly, it’s just impossible for a professional player to put a lot on the line for a couple of more goals. These guys were thinking about their club teams and rightfully so. Without Charlie Davies on this panel, it seems these commentators just repeat other talking points they’ve already heard.

  13. Balogun is ok but was overhyped. Balogun disappeared against germany . Failure . Dest was a fool. Not good enough . Against good teams like germany you need to be more active if youre not scoring goals. Balogun meeds to be part of the team more and defend upfront against germany because our defenders are not great they need help and reyna and pulisic and balogun dont offer much defensively. They need to be part of the team and win.
