I think itwould be a mistake to underestimate Spain for this Euros.
Southgate needs to stop depending on players that doesn't deserve to be in a team like that.
The quality of the England team is a large reason why Southgate has remained the England manager for so long and had relatively good success. Overall, England had much better managers that didn't have such success and opportunity to win major tournaments.

The biggest problem that England football players and especially fans have is that they cannot come out of the club rivalries….the fans should be showering accolades on players for having won and qualifying for the Euros….but here they are booing their own team….its kind of arrogance from England fans….
There were times in the game when England gave the ball back to Italy too easily. This shows that they are clearly not coached by Southgate that keeping possession to kill a game is Paramount. This is a serious flaw. When they are ahead – they fall into a situation of inviting the opposition onto them. This makes it much more difficult to win games. They have the players that are capable of keeping possession and waiting for new goalscoring opportunites to naturally open up.
I watched the entire first half and Philips was mentioned twice. Dude pulled off a disappearing act and no1 noticed 😅
