Top 5 player on the team for me, and the best goalie I’ve seen (not saying this only as a City fan), but truly in all my years he stands above the rest.
Ederson may not be the best shot stopper but he is the Perfect keeper for the Pep Guardiola style of play. Ederson's ball distribution makes him very vital for how Man City play and build from the back. His long range passes are top notch. His short range passes make him seem like a midfielder. He really is important to Pep's Man City team and the brand of football they play.
He makes us nervous every game.

Sure we concede some from counter attack but we also build a more plays
It's because of Ederson that we don't concede a lot of goals. It makes a big difference for us if he's not in the starting lineup.

Yes ederson distribution is top notch,but for me personally the basics for goalkeepers is to make saves, especially in 2 leg games in champions league.Which also come to my next point I'm very looking forward to see Stefan Ortega constantly start during cup games and show what he can do. No disrespect to Eddie but sometimes winning 1-0 is much more valuable than winning 5-3 or 6-3
I was a little surprised because after 5 years ago I was brought in (June 2017) this person I have never seen speaking in English in interview videos with him, even now still not🤔😐
