TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 Intro
00:40 – Securing qualification: We’ve got another big game against Italy.
01:23 – Impact of the booing: Playing for my country means everything for me. I give everything on the pitch. I’ll keep fighting.
02:58 – Euro 2028: Hope to be in the squad or in the stands having a few pints.
03:57 – Confidence to play for England: I get it through playing. The manager gives me the confidence.
04:51 – Credit for playing to England?: I’ve hade huge plaudits, but that’s football. You don’t play at the top without getting criticism.
06:04 – Talk about you: I try to stay away from it. To get that much talk you have to be a top performer like I have been.
07:09 – United win for Sir Alex Ferguson: If we put a small smile on his face it would be nice.
07:55 – Ups and downs: It’s how you deal with you, you need to prove it.
08:35 – Ten Hag: He said really well done, just pleased to help this club.
09:19 – Beckham documentary: I’ve watched it, but to see what he went through and the resilience, he’s a role model.
09:54 – Conversation with him: He got in touch with me after Scotland.
10:27 – Being with Man United: I’ve had three and a half years as captain, I’ve been there for five years, but I want to play minutes.
11:15 – Mental health advice: I don’t want the spotlight on me but every day someone wakes up with mental health.
11:56 – Beckham conversation: In the documentary he goes into it so I won’t go into a serious conversation.
12:26 – Qualifying for a home tournament: You have to look at it as a positive. If we can’t get out the group we don’t deserve to be there.
13:35 – England youth: It’s incredible. We have some amazing talent.
14:30 – Changes in player development: Football develops and changes in ways.
15:30 – How did the call with Beckham come about?: It meant everything.
16:39 – Beckham speaking about his past experiences?: Every career is so up and down, David knows about that.
17:50 – Marc Guehi: Marc’s amazing, he doesn’t look like a young boy playing football. He’s going to have a long career in the game.
19:19 – England fans support: They’ve been amazing with me. I can’t thank them enough.
20:05 – Football is a really intense sport. The spotlight is on the media.
20:46 – No moving to West Ham: Regular game time is really important for me. The opportunity wasn’t agreed. It wasn’t there.
21:50 – Family staying away?: You play football for memories and good times. The last year has been tougher for them.

These horible united fans! feelsbad
No player deserves this level of abuse, they are human after all. This man has more character than all those who critique him. It’s just football and it shouldn’t take a mental health break down, retirement or death for fans to treat players like humans with a family and loved ones.
Considering we only know 1% of the truth we really need to be compassionate as a society.
What southgate is doing with this guy might be the only good thing happening in his life right now that would stop him from committing suicide due to the endless abuse he’s been facing at Man.U.
No matter what, fans should know that he didn’t buy himself to Man United.
And for Man United to have spent 80mil to buy him, he must have been doing something good. So instead of criticizing him and pouring abuses on him, that energy should be directed towards the manager who bought him. Tbh many players sign for Man United and after a few months, they become flops. That could also be what is affecting Maguire as well.
His face told me two things: Lacks of sleep & determination to focus.
All best for Harry, he no longer 'a smug' that we use to know. All I see is football player that hunger to prove himself. 👏
If Harry can go pro so can we
Worth watching the Beckham doc to see what treating footballers badly does to them
He is being used as a scapegoat for Man Utd shortcomings.
Lol Beckham knows the abuse better, 98 Wold cup red card against Argentina
I feel no sympathy for him at all ! He could have gone to West Ham where he would have been a starter and less pressure on him. But he was greedy and didn’t want to cut his wages ! Cry me a river !
rubbish player
Harry Maguire has had a great England career and deserves praise for the way he handles the abuse and speaks in this press conference.
Saying hes not good enough for united is fine. Sayong ugly stuff sbout hin and is family is not
speaks so well – deserves more respect
Regular game time 😭😭😭😭
He shouldn't be in the England team Southgate just pick players because they been around long and his favourites Southgate ain't picking players by form the best players right now how is Harry Maguire in the England team when he don't play for his club raheem sterling been playing for his club but not been picked because of his form how is ben white not in the team its a joke Southgate need to be sacked because England have a good team now what could win trophies but while Southgate is there picking theses players England won't win Southgate is wasting what could be a good time for England
The main problem is that he is such a mediocre player. Belongs on Championship level at max.
No business he has playing for national or a big club. The sport is so fucking stupid. Also you can see on him he knows too :/ have to talk himself up all the time, while his mouth and eyes look like they want to kill themselfes. You brits are really something else.
Shameful how supporters abuses their very own player. Instead of supporting him. Let’s abuse him, put up signs with ”leave our club”
Disgusting.
We as fans find it even tougher having to watch you try to play football
I know alot of young ceentre backs who are better him he doesn't deserve wealth and fame
How'd he get a call up? When was the last time he had consistent minutes for his club?
The very definition of white Privilege, embarrassing
