Both Jules Kounde and Lamine Yamal suffered injuries in Barça’s 2-2 draw with Granada on Sunday. As El Clasico vs Real Madrid looms in just a few weeks, Xavi’s team cannot seem to escape injuries, with Pedri, Lewandowski, de Jong And Raphinha already ruled out.

  1. Injuries like the ones we saw when Koeman was coaching. Then, I hate to be that guy but this ups and downs in our games are getting to me. Hot & cold, pass and pass back, pass and pass back, hold the ball and pass back, pass and again pass back bad pass, let's get the ball back or a goal, whichever comes first. No sense of urgency until the last few minutes. How about if we get the job done quick and then decide to sleep or take a break?

  2. This is like playing football manager and having trigger press set to maximum while having very physical training…and then being shocked half your squad is gone.
We are doing something wrong. Every match players go 110% yes it's fun to see but must we always redline our engine just to win? It's clearly not sustainable as we have seen.

    And also…stop drinking prime 🤮🤮

  3. Xavi is playing this kid Lamine too much . Without Lewy this is the time for Xavi to play for midfielders. That Xavi could play Gavi' s. Roberto, Gundegan Romeu and Fermin with Fermin running into the center forward position as forced number 9 while Ferran and Felix occupy the flanks. Lamine and Alonzo who have come one for Felix and Ferran or Fermin at some point. This should be our game until we have Lewy back. Unless we have victor Roque we can't afford to play 4-3-3 without a proper number 9. 4-4-2 will be better to play force number 9 game.

  4. i'm so sick of this team and their fragile ass players. you guys keep on making excuses saying its the amount of games being played or that xavi overuses them but look at gavi. he is literally overplayed but he's still a tank and rarely gets injured. this is why barcelona wont ever win a cl for a very long time.there's always injuries and crucial players are missing during the games that are needed. thats how barca got f*cked last season

  5. I don't want to be negative guys but I don't think we going to win this Classico. We have lost that edge, hunger and determination we had in the last classico

  6. This is because all these players have been going nonstop since July 2020 when everything came back after the pandemic. That three month break of the pandemic was one of the rare breaks they received. It's been one offseason with a tournament after another since, 2021 Copa America 2021 Euros, 2022 WC midseason too this past season, the crowded international schedule, just insanity. It hurts the sport havjng this many matches.
Glad Yamal and Kounde wont be out longer than 5 weeks but Kounfe being out sucks.
But Pedri and Raphinha are back for El Clasico is great news but im so sick of these injuries. It's continued with 2 different medical staffs

  7. Honestly at this rate we will not gave any players by the end of the month. This medical staff is a disaster. Every season its the same

  8. the most concerning thing for me is if an injury comes, the span is at least a month and most of these were not even injury looking tackles and even no tackle on them

  9. Well said. This is the most positive you have said for days. This is a long season don't despair. Our team is showing character and it will pay dividends in the end. Visca Barca.

  10. UCL is back and all injuries to critical pkayers of Barca are back…same old, same old. Barca has always the worst injuries. Their training/physio regimens must be reviewed and rectified. Something is very wrong……

  11. @TalkFCB Would like to see your take about our medical team… obviously the amount of games played is a big factor, but no other top club is in our situation right now.

I feel like this also ties together with the fact that a lot of players who played here say that there’s little emphasis on strength training
