  1. There's 2 possibilities that could make McKennie and Ounahi a possibility: McKennie being a loan with obligation to buy (Juve potentially preferring that to other teams offering loan with an option in this scenario) or there's the movement that happened over the weekend in regards to the takeover that has been rumoured has really kicked in and the money has been made available for both.

  2. Earlier on Sky sports 2 Italian football experts mentioned it's between us and Arsenal for McKennie but the problem is getting the deal signed off etc , this is because the directors etc are suspended from their duties with everything that's going off with Juventus, I'd be extremely pleased if he wanted to sign and Tyler Adams is the key not Marsch or the 49ers, The Italian football experts also mentioned he doesn't want to step down were Arsenal can offer him Champions League football probably better package and the pull of London, obviously he won't play as much, so let's see what happens.

  3. Hello Ger thanks for updates again would be good for Cody and Joffy to get out on loan. 35million I would walk away from that too much to pay. Funny what world 🌍 cups do some players have a cracking world Cup you get them sometimes when they arrive are a flop. The Juventus man looks a good bet is he any good Ger heard about him but Never seen him. Good job Ger keep fighting, all Leeds aren't we, marching on together, we all love Leeds 🦚🇮🇨👊✊

  4. Having "lived the dream" with Ridsdale and then endured the nightmare that followed all this big spending makes me nervous.
We have already brought in 4 midfielders (Aaronson, Adams, Roca, Sinisterra) – with players in reserve for them, now we're talking about 2 more ???
Getting the ball to the final 3rd we're fine at, it's the finesse, breaking down a defence and scoring goals is what we need, along with a solid back 4 (big fan of Wober, need 3 more of him!).
Midfield to me seems the least of our problems.

  5. Ger.. Love the updates.. Can you include which position these guys would play if they were brought in.. Both Uunahi and McKennie are mid-fielders. Not sure they would go for 2 players in the same position. Also wondering whats happening on the left back .. Any updates on a a left back?

  6. Hi Ger, I’d take Weston first, but both would be great depending on who leaves ie Forshaw! I’d still like a LB or CH as we are still a bit thin in that department and look at the differences Wober made on Sunday also happy CD and JG are only loans! as for Twitter it’s toxic at the moment, however I do think Martin Keown should apply for the vacant Everton job !!!! MOT

  7. Mckennie over onahi all day, I don’t like the all American dream at Leeds but that would be a good buy, he’s got energy and experience at a level most of our players don’t have and he’s more consistent

  8. I agree, its a total coincidence our soon-to-be owners are American and we signed an American manager and now trying to sign our 3rd American player 😂😂

  9. If Wes joins, that would make the midfield AWFULLY crowded! Bringing him in could be a prelude to selling Harrison either in this window or the end of season? I am becoming more convinced that Leeds at the moment looks to the Brentford model — buy potential cheap, sell reality dear. It can definitely work. As far as being "Jesse's guy" that's rubbish. He has never played for Jesse, as opposed to Adams and Aaronson. And Wober I guess is technically Jesse's guy, but he is Austrian, not an American. Complete nonsense. FYI, I saw Wes play in person for the USMNT in their qualifier against Mexico in Cincinnati, which we won Dos a Cero.. That may have been his greatest game in a USA kit, we would not have won without him. That being said, his performances since for both club and country have been inconsistent. Moreover, his professionalism has been an issue, again, for both club and country. That said, his talent is undeniable and if he puts it together, it has been, and it could be massive. Jesse would challenge him, much as he challenged Adams, to obvious positive effect. I guess we will see. Juve is not an ideal situation for him, so a move where he can blossom would be great for him, Leeds or somewhere else.

  10. Weston McKennie is a really solid, physical box-to-box #8 and a beast in the air. He's also young and full of passion/energy.

I'd be extremely pleased if we were able to snag him before he ends up at a top side in the PL.

He would make the team better and offers lots of versatility. Solid value at $25-30M in my opinion.

Anyone else remember when Adams and McKinnie BOSSED Rice and Bellingham in the World Cup?

  11. Thanks Ger. Pleased Drameh is not leaving permanently. I'd forget about Ounahi, Angers are pissing everyone around. Plenty of countries with good players that weren't at the world cup. Is Weston McKennie any good?

  12. McKennie is a good midfielder and would be a good quality signing for Leeds as he would improve the team with his skill.and play style. Some things should be noted about him as it seems to be some sort of issue with some Leeds fans. 1. Weston is not a Marsch guy. 2 .Never been coached by him and is not a product of the Red Bull system. 3. It's sad a player must be immediately judged because of his nationality instead of his abilities. 4. He has played in CL tho Juve didn't do well. 5. He is a top midfielder in Serie A and plays every game for Allegri who obviously trusts him and rates him highly.

  13. McKennie also took Schalke to the Champions League. At Juve, most of his goals have come from headers in the box. He's box to box, high energy, can play many positions, and is all hustle – total Leeds fit. Didn't want Pullisic coming to Leeds, but McKennie is a no brainer, especially for 25 mil. He went to Juve for 18 mil; Juve needs cash. Loving this….

  14. I don't think Ounahi would fit Leeds. Other than a good World Cup i've never Heard of him. Is He Wörth that Kind of Money? McKennie is a Player who plays For a top flight Team UCL Experience plus alongside Adams would fit in straight away
