  1. Great fighters both. No hugging and kissing the whole fight. Lopez was and is a warrior. Sanchez brought his greatness,
And proved time again that he was the best.

  2. Sanchez put on a masterclass. Looked nearly flawless. Lopez put up a hell of a fight but was outgunned. Lopez corner should've saved him from himself & stopped it 3 or 4 rounds sooner than the ref did. I had the fight 120-108 thru the 12th. Complete shutout

  3. People that think canelo is even in the top 5 best mexican greats are just clueless. Salvador Sanchez is the definition of greatness. A boxing purest.

  4. MAN, Sanchez was ahead of his time. Look at that catching the jab so he effectively can "see" what coming and what to do next.

  5. Hindsight 20/20, Lopez was in deep trouble after the first round. Sanchez not only found that right hand early and almost too easy, he then showed towards the end of the round that it wasn't a fluke nailing him repeatedly again. As long as he could consistently land that punch without Lopez making any significant adjustment it was just a matter of building on that which Sanchez ultimately did.

  7. Sanchez had some beautiful combinations. Lopez had no defense at all. He was mostly a offensive fighter. Against Sanchez he had no chance at all. Sanchez was an excellent offensive and counter puncher I have ever seen. Sanchez had the ultimate boxing poker face ever

  8. Must be an awful feeling to take a fight and already be looking on to what's next.. then by the end of the first round (definitely by the end of the 2nd) you start thinking to yourself "damn, this kid's different." He probably seen the writing on the wall by the end of round 2 for sure. This dude might be one of the greatest counter punchers I've ever seen.. so clean and crisp. Legend.

  9. This is what boxing is two men brawling it out not the ballerinas nowadays dancing around the ring.
The best Mexican boxer in my opinion.

  13. I honestly don't think I have ever seen a more composed Boxer in my life, never panics has huge belief in himself & his Corners Fight Plan, incredible Stamina, rarely looks like he's Tired he's got 2 great hands & movement, he could have gone on to clean out a few Division's, with his Height & Age he'd have grown out & got bigger, I reckon he'd have become unstoppable had he Lived, such a loss for Boxing.
Danny Lil Red Lopez one tough cookie, all Sanchez's Right Hands & still stayed on his feet just a pity about the Cuts & Sanchez took some good Shots himself but prevailed in the end.
    This was a great Fight.
