      Why is nobody talking about Haalands contributions to Norway. Wasn’t able to qualify for the World Cup. And now they are set to miss out on the Euros aswell. For a nation that have two of the best Premier League players (Haaland and Odegaad) and a squad almost double in value compared to Scotland that is embarrassing.

      May be for some people World Cup is just a 7 game tournament but people forget how much it matters merely by the fact that it comes once in 4 years……

      Haaland shouldn’t be top 30! He’s NOT the best FOOTBALL PLAYER IN THE WORLD, it should be given to Messi, he had a good season in Paris and he was the most important player in a team that won the World Cup, if you ask me who I’m taking second then it’s Bernardo silva

      Let's face it, the Ballon do'r has always been about who played best in the big games where everyone was watching. It's about who dominates games, it's about who passes the eye test. It's not about who scores the most or you'd just give it to the golden boot every year.

      I love Haaland, but he is a poacher. He averages around 20 touches a game. He's not the kind of player who can take the game by the scruff of the neck and win it by himself. He is always going to find it hard to win the Ballon Do'r.

      So Alisson and Courtois deserves a ballon d’ors because they were world class players of the year motm in UCL final

      If Rodri wins it over Messi i have no problem with that, Rodri is an extraordinary footballer with the ball i can't say the same for Haaland, he isn't special he doesn't do staff that amazes you, for the goals he scored he has a ridiculously mediocre first touch and ball control.

      The ballon d’or is a stupid award anyway. There’s no good way to determine who’s better between a striker or a defender. They should split the award into best forward, best midfielder, etc.
