    Kudus is serious competition for Jarrod Bowen | Mavropanos impresses Moyes on Hammers debut



    West Ham United won their first group stage game of the UEFA Europa League with Mohammed Kudus and Konstantinos Mavropanos making their full debuts. Kudus in particular had an excellent game, scoring a goal from a James Ward Prowse corner to make it 2-1.

    West Ham United were made to work for it but they got their UEFA Europa League campaign off with a 3-1 win over tournament debutants Bačka Topola. Victory for the Irons extended their unbeaten run in Europe to 16 matches.

      Felt a bit sorry for Fornals. He tried his best last night and it didn’t work out for him. Kudas and Fornals were falling over one another. Ings done his best and he wasn’t too bad. Need to play him in a bit quicker.

      Kudus and Bowen with Antonio in the middle I have some of that, spot Gonzo about Mavropanos he’s going to be a real bad ass at corners he’s going to score some goals if he plays I hope he will be fret like Dawson was.
      I would like D.M have him in defence as soon as possible it’s looking good Gonzo we are gradely building something at West Ham United the future looks promising even though the low block can be a bit to much to take at times watching it on tv in premier league matches I just hope we can easily adjust to the different styles of the low block and the high block switch it on and off like a light switch depending on who we play while we got D.M.

      How about this? Kudus on the right wing and Bowen either in the centre or even as striker. I Jurgen Klopp does buy Bowen, it will be as a replacement or Salah as a striker.

      I think Ward Prowse will continue to score goals for us, But I also think his presence will allow others to score goals. It is no coincidence, in my opinion, that his arrival has coincided with a big drop off in shooting-range free kicks. Defenders are more fearful of having to defend them and are therefore more reluctant to concede them. This allows more freedom for attackers like Bowen and Antonio to advance with the ball and should result in more goal-scoring opportunities.

      Really feel it's an exciting time to be a hammer. We have options on the bench with our squad now. As ling as Bowen is fit I'm sure moyes will have kudus on the bench. If Antonio not producing then kudus can come on and interchange with Bowen upfront and wing. In a way I hope Bowen is not 100% as I like to see kudus start on the right. I really feel we can do Liverpool or come close. Not look forward to the ref though. I think he is a closet big Liverpool fan. He has a history of bad decisions against us

      I really do believe that, for the first time in years, we have a squad, rather than just a team. Kudus is so forward thinking – the way he runs at players is mesmerizing: do we really need a 30 year old Lingaard? I don't think so. And neither does he: he's enroute to Saudi today. Thinks are looking up, Gonzo.

      Compare this summer window with last Summer (inc January) and no comparison.8 or 9 players last season signed and we have out of that,Areola,Emerson,Aguerd and of course Paqueta we can truly say are first team approx 50% success,Kehrer could become decent but that’s all.This Summer Kudus,Alvarez,Dinos and so far summer signing JWP,early day but that looks like 100% success,I’ll take that all day long,less can mean more ⚒👍🏻

      Cornet needs to get some game time so we can see what’s there. Surly he must have something? Ings looks outdated hanging around the box and not able to get on the end of things.
