Shocking night of football at Old Trafford as Manchester United are sunk in the Champions League by Wilf Zaha and Galatasaray. Casemiro got another red card and Onana’s woes continue.
Manchester United’s miserable season continued as they slumped to a 3-2 defeat at home to Galatasaray on Tuesday to leave them bottom of Champions League Group A and in all kinds of disarray.
Looking to put a fourth Premier League defeat of the season against Crystal Palace on Saturday to the backs of their minds, United flew out of the traps in the Manchester rain, racing into a 17th-minute lead through Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund.
Their advantage lasted less than six minutes however as Wilfried Zaha, playing against his former club, scooped home the equaliser after poor defending from the hosts.
After the break, Hojlund brilliantly capitalised on a slip from Galatasaray defender Davinson Sanchez to clip United back in front in the 67th minute, only for Kerem Akturkoglu to level four minutes later and stun Old Trafford into silence.
A mistake from United goalkeeper Andre Onana forced Brazilian midfielder Casemiro to conceded a penalty, which saw him sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
Mauro Icardi let United off the hook as he drilled his spot kick wide but the Argentine picked himself up and slotted home a fine winner nine minutes from time to send Galatasaray up to second in the group on four points and leave United pointless.
Bayern Munich are top on six points from two games after a 2-1 win at FC Copenhagen, who are third with one point.

Playing Amrabat as a LB was a painful sight to watch. Killed 70% of his abilities and what he can do on the field. As a Moroccan who used to watch Amrabat since he came to national team. That's not the Amrabat I know. He was confused the whole game. I would rather see him replace Casemiro in the second half than play as a LB

As bad as it is atm, i still don't feel as nervous or worried as i did during the Ole/Rangnick season…somehow…maybe cos there is positives and we are playing with only 1 1st choice defender…however that pass from Onana that led to Casemiro getting sent off was beyond stupid, and several times while watching i was "WTF"ing at Lindelof and his positioning. Højlund deserved the game to be all about him and his desire and 2 goals and instead it's about a rookie error by Onana and that yet again by the 20 minute mark, even though you could tell he was trying not to but Rashford's head started going down again…and apart from the last goal which to be fair, you can't really blame him for, he's not been brought in to be a 4th choice LB but Amrabat had a great game apart from that.
We'll pull through this phase i know, but jeesy creesy it hurts atm.

Watch the first 2 minutes of the game and look at Bruno.
1. He fluffs a pass / loses control of the ball leading to a counter attack (tires out our players)
2. He doesnt make himself available to the defence and points to Dalot to pass back to the keeper (thanks for nothing mate)
3. Hojlund passes the easiest ball into the box, literally rolling on the floor and Bruno tries a cute side foot shot on goal and CANT EVEN GET IT ON TARGET… C'mon man you're right infront of goal.
Tell me I'm wrong, but Bruno just isnt that guy.
