Marko Grujic has left Liverpool to join Porto on loan for the rest of the season.
The midfielder was close to joining Werder Bremen on transfer deadline day after initial interest from Borussia Monchengladbach.
But Bremen could not afford the fee the Reds wanted for a permanent deal.

It had appeared as though Grujic would be staying on Merseyside following the close of the transfer window on Monday evening.
However, with some European nations still able to trade, Portuguese giants Porto made their move on Tuesday with the loan of Danilo Pereira to Paris Saint-Germain opening up a spot in their squad.

Feel a bit sorry for Grujic, he's a good player, don't think he'll ever make the grade at Anfield, hope he does well
WHYYYYY, what's the point in loaning him out all the time, he looked good recently and could be a really good player to have as backup or to play in FA cup etc
Always liked Grujic, honestly wish we'd kept him in tow this season. I hope one day he comes good for us
I find it interesting that his profile doesn't correspond to Jürgen's but frankly he made good matches at the beginning of the season, it's true that the midfielder is already well developed, he wouldn't have had a lot of playing time, to lend him is maybe a false good idea, because he's good and if he needs to play to progress in Porto he's going to enjoy it, because he's very technical and his game corresponds well to Porto's game.
He will be sold eventually at the right price.
I'm upset that Grujic isn't sticking around . He is the one I rather keep than Wilson . I certainly hope Grujic goes to Porto , dominate then come back an even better player so Klopp is forced to keep him .
