  1. The numbers being quoted look like a €60m deal. But how much of that to be guaranteed could be key…
Doku has also indicated to team mates that he wants City move vs WHU.
But IMHO it still seems an odd signing, when Palmer has shown good form… 🤷🏻‍♂️

  2. This is one was hoping for. I rekon there's another possible 2 more to come in too. One of them being fairly big. I think city will be prepared to fire 80m for someone at some point. We need the depth and the chance to get 4 in a row and set us in a league of our own is worth bending out transfer model a bit.

  3. Lovely, looks a good player and will definitely add some speed to the front which I’m all for.
    Hope it gets sorted.

I was watching Walker closely against Dan burns and the space he had was unbelievable yet I don’t think he ran at him once,it must be something peps said ie don’t do it 🤷‍♂️ it must of been as he could skip passed him.
I found it strange but when I looked and thought go now if Kyle did it then went to cross it I reckon he’s that fast there wouldn’t be anyone in the box.
It was on literally all game yet he kept going back, has to be a pep command not too.
    Great update mate 🩵

  4. I'm not too bothered about the price, I think £50M in today's market is very reasonable, Utd just paid £72M for a striker that only scored 9 goals, Chelsea just spend £115M on a midfielder that only has one season in the PL, so you have to put things into perspective, plus I think we shot ourselves in the foot, we took too long to make this deal, if it was at the start of the transfer window we would've got him for £35M I reckon, but now we're inconveniencing his club because where are they going to get a replacement this late? Plus they know we're desperate and can't really afford to walk away as it's so late in the window, plus there's other clubs like West Ham and Chelsea interested thus pushing the price higher, so all those things considered I'd say £50M for someone of his potential is a cracking price still.

  5. I like that one Johnny, Doku as a possible wing back! He is an unusual player for Pep to go for, fast, flash and tricky. We are taking a punt on talent here, with very little data, so let's not overpay.

He would be perfect for our friends in the South, West Ham!

  6. If he is smart, he will come to City. he can play both wings. Grealish is still struggling at this stage of the season so he will have a lot of minutes to compete for.

  7. Is Jeremy Doku more potential than Cole Palmer & Oscar Bobb, overall? Probably not. It takes more than just speed. If it was just speed they perhaps could have kept Carlos Borges.

Haaland is great, though has quiet games sometimes. Having the Haaland/Alvarez duo seems much more effective, defence have to mark both and Alvarez is versatile. The more they play with Foden the better the understanding.

  8. I’m not sure City has the luxury of refusing to pay a premium for players given how late it is in the transfer window IF they want to sign Pep-type player, no? Bc it’s so late in the window, any selling club will require a premium to whatever price they normally would’ve been okay with, so even though there might be better players at 55m normally, those players might 65-70m and on and on that unfortunate cascade effect goes with player transfer costs :/

  9. WIng back maybe long term, certainly not presently, however Kyle won't last forever. I love Dokus highlights reel he can absolutely roast full backs. He'd be great up against Trent lol. St Maximin, great player, but made of glass. Traore fast, strong, shit footballer.

  10. Under Pep's guidance, I can envision Doku evolving into an apex predator on the pitch. To be clear, if you seek more game time, excel in your performance, and you will earn Pep's favor. Once he places trust in your abilities, you will have the opportunity to play as much as you desire.

  11. Till this moment , our window is a failure…. Yes unexpected issues occur like KSA market invasion for our key players and other players . Add to that Chelsea and Arsenal spending over which increased values of all players and made the market hot at moment .. for us to say oh silva and Walker renew will make us happy lol that’s a joke . We need to keep them add three new players to that .. kdb and stones injury … what we achieved and this window is a failure… but let’s see what happens till 1st of sept

  12. Watched a compilation video, very skillful, can score with either foot, cool one-on-one,pay the fee blues, let's get an exciting winger for our exciting centre forward

  13. NOT GONA LIE MOST OF US CITY FAN'S NOT GONA GET TO CHARGED ABOUT THIS SIGNING , IT HAS BACK FIRED ON US ALREADY WITH LUCAS FROM WESTHAM . HOPES WENT HIGH AT ONE STAGE WE THORT MINTOMA WAS COMING CITY😡😡 CHELSEA ARE PAYING SILLY MONEY FOR PLAYER'S WHO CANT EVEN SCORE A PENALTY AND LOVE GIVEING PENALTIES..

  14. Got potential but so does Carlos Borges. I really don't understand our transfer strategy at the minute. We sold Lavia who has bags of potential to then sign Phillips who can't even get a game.

  15. No mate he’s playin as 1 of the fantastic 4 below 👇 Haaland
    Not a defender n not a DM…2dms now Rodri n Kova
His speed n pace something unseen in PL…not even Mitoma, not as fast 💨
