I normally watch Chelsea from the westview top tier, this gives u a great view tactical n formation wise. One thing that stood out for me was how Brighton would look for solutions during the game in changing formation, from box shape (2CB n 2DM) to pivot with full backs tuck in. Chelsea on the other hand struggled in the 1st half cause they stuck with a build up shape that didn't work they didn't look for solutions, its almost like we were waiting for half time team talk to make tactical changes. N I think thats why Brighton n City r top class. Its the ability to change during a game, da constant search 4 a break through, da fearless forward thinking. I have to say I was really impressed with the dynamic fluid tactical prowess!

I wouldn’t complain about VAR not being in the cup because it both did us dirty and saved us. Ugochukwu would’ve received a red card from his tackle if VAR was in the game. Good win but more work to be done by the team

Happy with the win obviously but already depressed again because you just know that Fulham will see us back with Maatsen and Palmer on the bench, Colwill at LB, Gallagher first name on the teamsheet, Enzo as a ten and Sterling doing f..k all from start to finish.

Please give us a run with this team, players in their natural position.

Much needed victory and a decent performance overall. I was really worried about Sanchez with the ball at his feet. Hope it was just an off game and not something that will become a weak spot for us
