I was looking at player stats for everyone on LFC radar this summer Macca and Dom as well as Gravenberch, Caicedo, Tchouameni, Kone, Amrabat, Kamara, Doucoure, Andre and Florentino Luis. His offensive/ passing numbers aren't crazy until you get into possession metrics. goal defense, defensive third possession and shot blocking and all of a sudden he' filters to top. In pure defense, Caicedo and Florentino Luis dominate. Caicedo has the most tackles & Luis has the most challenges and interceptions ball but Wataru has more blocked shots and clearances.
Also, of everyone who's been linked with Liverpool this summer if you just went off XG+XA per 90 the top 4 are Wataru, Alexis MacAllister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch. Florentino, Andre, Kamara, Doucoure, Amrabat, Kone, Caicedo and Tchoumeni are all miles off these 4.
