Join me for a special edition of Inside Arteta where I sit down with Dutch legend Jaap Stam to get exclusive insight into Jurrien Timber and what he will bring to Arsenal following his move from Ajax. In a wide ranging interview with Stam, he talks to me about Timber’s strengths, his weaknesses and reveals the type of character that Mikel Arteta will be adding to his squad.

  1. That's rich coming from Van Basten saying Timber should stay for a few more seasons considering what age he himself to Milan

  2. Apart from ajax is a club …. Long time ago ajax use to top academy where by top elite Europe clubs to come fish out top talents and now they are some hw below , currently Dortmund is highly rated to get top talents

  3. Woah! Great guest Charles! Also I’m loving the lack of cords behind you 😂 Great show, thumbs way up!

  4. I like how Jaap Stam started with arms folded and looking defensive and Charles listened and didn't talk and slowly he opened up

  5. If you want to see Arsenal Class then try to see the end of the fantastic win by the England U21 team. Lots of egos wanting their photos with the trophy but Trafford having had a stellar performance wasn't after the limelight. Up steps ESR who got hold of the trophy and handed it to Trafford and pressed him into centre stage to make him have his well deserved moment of glory in front of the press. Even at a time like that he had the presence of mind to think of his team mate. That's the Arsenal Way

  6. A small average centre back playing in an average Ajax team in an average league. And you pay 45m for him. You have been properly shafted this window.

  7. Love your channel, Charles, keep up the good work. A different question to you: what do you think of the idea of transforming Saka into a central striker? I remember the Henry transformation, and I just cant stop playing with the idea. Hes got the power, technique, speed, and vision now.

  8. At a time sometimes i put me self before arsenal…. Even at a time I had a nightmare about the starting 11 after the current 🌅 (summer)window and still my nightmare dream is a proper #9

  9. Q Charles not specifically related to arsenal but I remember years ago if 2 teams couldn't agree a fee fir a player an independent team from FA would set the fee which would happen quite often. Does this happen now?

  10. I think as of now are not Arsenal who had a good transfer window. It was Chelsea. They able to sell their unwanted and underperformed players at a very great price. It was not a sale offers but we and Man Utd have been cheated with these offers. Almost recover back the initial price they bought them, and Mason came from their own academy at no cost. And now they are targeting big players like Nkunku and Caiceido. We are giving them money to spend on better players. Damn….

  11. I think Arteta may trial Timber at CDM during parts of this season, especially if we sell Partey and bring in no replacement for him.

  12. Timber is probably the most exciting signing for me this season… As much as Rice and Havertz will certainly give something extra and fresh to the midfield, we don't have a player who does what Timber can do. I'm excited about what he can offer in terms of the tactics.

  13. @charles, please advise what your current set up is, cameras, livestream, recording, edit, keen to use your set up
