I think Raya played against Everton for just gaining matchday vibe before starting in the CL. Ramsdale will be the one for the league and Raya for the cups.

Raya is excellent in goal.. there were few moments where i thought, if ramsdale were in goal, he would have punched the ball instead of catching it and creates unnecessary pressure..

Raya's ball tracking is impeccable, Ramsdale would generally let the defenders do the work in the box, but Raya picks up the high balls before the attacking players get there. Great work, Arteta will use them interchangeably according to how different opponents like to attack

Ramsdale is actually good he just needs to fix whats between the ears. He is a bit panicky and chaotic
Why are some fans slow.? Raya doesnt have much to do because he snuffs out danger before it even arises…anticipates danger : high balls, slowing down games, long balls etc. Its whats making people think he isnt doing much. We are so used to ramsdale's theatrics when our defenders slip up and he is clamouring for saves. Notice what happens when our defence is breached…he is either rooted in the right positon or dives out of routine calculated saves. Ramsdale does too much…we are learning the back doesnt have to be busy.
